If you have not tried the black lava salt it is definitely a must. I love putting this on steaks or any kind of meat. My husband and I took a cruise a couple of months ago and this salt was on the menu. It was the first time either one of us had tasted it and we absolutely loved it. The moment I came home I looked it up and this was a really good price for the amount that you received. I love that it comes in this type of package because I like to put it in my own special jars and label them. It’s a really good and really adds a lot of flavor to your steak. We use it with our pepper flakes, mixed in a jar for a spicey ghost pepper lava salt (lava Salt has a better ring to it than table salt) The salt itself is NOT spicey, it's just salt with more nutrients than your normal table salt. Taste delicious and think of all the things use can use with it!!!

It has good tastes, but unlike others it leaves a black residue on your hands.

This coming from a guy who has always like Salt and by most peoples standards, over salts everything.. This stuff is kind of potent. Use sparingly till you get the hang of it. Good stuff, but it is very salty. And I did notice a little runny blackness in the plate. But you can SEE it going on.

The lava salt was the prefect pairing for bloody margaritas.
