Amazon is listening!!!!!
These cookies were brought to me by Amazon In a box with padding . So the cookies came to me in PERFECT CONDITION . I read the reviews where people were saying It was mailed to them in an envelope or put in a box with heavy items and the cookies were smashed. Maybe they have learned and are not doing that anymore like they did with me. The cookies were all in perfect condition and very fresh. When I took a bite, the cookie did not crumble nor did the chocolate flake off. I could tell how fresh they are, by the smell of fresh ginger wafting out of the bag when I opened it! Tender ginger cookie enveloped the apricot filling. Yummy! I think I counted 13 cookies in the bag but I could be wrong because I ate them so fast! Each cookie was a big enough size. I loved them.

So Good!
Delicious cookies. Not only go well with coffee but even with cards at Bridge! Great product but only lasted one Bridge afternoon! So good!

Great flavor but came unusable.
These are my go to German chocolates. Impossible to find in my city unfortunately. Ordered some for a friendsgiving coming out. And they are ruined. Who ships 50 dollars worth of German chocolate in a regular box. No insulation. No ice pack. Nothing. They are destroyed. Melted into one gaint blob. I am very unhappy. These cost a good amount and they are completely inedible. I'm beyond upset.

Shipping these tender cookies is a big problem
I love German lebkuchen --chocolate-coated spice cookies with some fruit filling--but this brand doesn't always travel well, and I don't think there was a single cookie in the package that emerged from its travel intact. I have finished eating the last crumbly bits, and they definitely tasted good, but they would have looked dreadfully pathetic out on a plate for company. It didn't occur to me to contact the supplier in Germany or take any pictures of the mangled cookies until I was asked for a review. There are other companies --Wicklein's Gingerbread Stars and Bahlsen Contessa Lebkuchen among them--that, due to the shape of the cookies and the way they are packed close together, not loose in a bag, arrive at the consumer in uncrumbled shape. = I stand by my review that I wrote some weeks ago. Still true.

Delicious Gingerbread hearts
I just love these delicious chocolate covered gingerbread hearts with filling! They are the ones we used to eat when I lived in Germany and are so hard to find!

Yummy!
These have always been one of my favorites. I prefer the one with cherry filling, but was very pleasantly surprised by how well these apricot fillings worked with the gingerbread and chocolate. These were a holiday treat, so I didn't mind the expense. It would be nice if they had a few more in there. Five or six cookies at this price point definitely keeps these in the splurge zone for us. They were fresh, intact, and quite delicious.

Ordering foods
I was very disappointed when I received my cookies, they were so dried out and crumbled badly. I was really looking forward to getting them. I got them all the time when I lived in Germany and then in Philadelphia I could get the others. I definitely will not reorder.
