Like These Enough I Bought a Second
I've had a 4 Classic since 2021 and there's enough to like about it that I haven't seen a watch I'd rather have. The battery life is the biggest downside. You can stretch it by running very few of its features continuously, but then what is the point of having it at all in that case? Using all the features to track your personal health journey, it is possible to get nearly full day charges, but you have to time a period of inactivity in which to fully recharge the watch in order to get through the night for sleep tracking and through the typical day. It charges relatively quickly, but this can still be hard to accomplish. Because of this, I bought a second watch here in refurbished condition. My plan is to let my day watch charge overnight while I switch to this watch for sleep tracking and use as a general backup. The Samsung Health App seems to deal with this well so far. I just turn the watch I'm going to charge off, then turn on the next watch. I never charge them while they are on. The condition of the watch was indistinguishable from new. It even came with a charger and a new band. The band is not my favorite, but it isn't uncomfortable either and will serve my purposes well. I looked at a new Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra, but even with longer battery life, the main problem that it eventually needs to be charged is not solved. I'm liking the solution of just having two identical watches best. As for the watch itself, I like it a lot. It isn't 100% accurate in all circumstances with all features, but it is close enough to be informative. If you need medical grade information, I'm sure you'll never find it on any watch to date. This is a heavy watch. If you don't like those, this isn't for you. My first Watch 4 Classic has survived over 3 years of use and I work blue collar type jobs. I've been surprised how tough and durable the screen is, mine still doesn't have a scratch. I think the dial bezel, which is a great feature in use, does a great job of adding protection. I got the silver color and it just looks like a classic watch with a modern flair. The grey on the band takes away from the cr hrome a bit. A black band would put more focus on the watch itself.

awesome value
Watch arrived in like new condition. I've been wearing it at least a couple days a week for almost a year. A lot of the bugs and missing apps this watch had when it released have been updated and fixed since it runs the same software you'd have on samsung's latest and greatest. I don't want to sleep with a watch on so it charges at night and has plenty of battery at the end of the day to probably make it to around 24 hours if I'm not using it for much and have the screen always on. I bought this watch for fitness tracking, I've been using samsung health on my phone for years but wanted to leave my phone at home. I use YouTube music with Buds while working out and tracking it will burn through the battery in a little under 2 hours. That's generally fine for me because most of my work outs are under 2 hours. If you're training for a marathon or want this to track everything on an all day work out you may need the larger/newer version or your phone. Beyond work outs the battery doesn't last long when you're actually using the watch to do anything but display the face. Downloading apps and music initially blew through a full charge in a couple hours when I first got it and I was worried but once it's set up you won't really find yourself needing a lot of screen time and tasks run on the watch for hours a day. I like the UI Samsung fitness, google wallet, weather, tracking apps work great. I really like that google wallet can work offline without my phone if it was connected to the phone recently. It slows down a bit sometimes mostly with youtube music loading up a large library. I never used the LTE, I feel like anything I'd use it for would blow through the battery too fast, except maybe sending the occasional text while working out. The watch can do a lot offline but isn't a good substitute for a phone due to the battery life and just the size. I'm considering trading up to the Watch 6 now only because samsung has trade in deals where you can trade in the 4 classic for $200 meaning I used the watch for a year and will trade it in for more than I spent. The main upgrades with the 6 would just be a slightly larger battery, the saphire glass and potentially updates further into the future. Either way the Watch 4 is a good buy.

Great deal, but WATCH OUT FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES!
TLDR: watch was in excellent condition, great watch, great UX, sufficient battery life to get through a day (you'll be charging every night), well worth the $$$, but read below to see the issues you'll have to work through if you update the firmware. I deducted a star due to the firmware issues. The most important thing about this watch is to realize there's a GOOD chance your watch will begin behaving very very badly with the installation of the OneUI 6 update. I purchased this watch and started installing all the updates to get the watch up to date (there's about 8 of them I think). After installing the OneUI 6 update my watch became entirely unusable, burning through battery, non-responsive to touch input, not connecting reliably to the phone. I ended up returning the watch thinking there was an actual hardware issue with the device, and I requested a replacement. The replacement had the exact same issue on the same firmware update, and then I realized it was the firmware and not the watch hardware itself. After searching on the intertubes I saw that my best bet was to reset the watch. Given the watch's non-responsiveness to touch input or phone input this required me to seek out instruction on how to do this via the watch buttons, which actually worked. Resetting the watch KEPT the firmware update but reset whatever on the watch was causing the problems. And now I have a great watch at at great price. But this process isn't a buy and go situation, you're going to have to do a little research and work to be happy. As of now I'm fully up to the latest firmware (through May 2025) and the watch is great.

Awsome deal!!
This was a really good deal!! The watch had zero scratches and works flawlessly, somethings super irritating though I bought the LTE version and I read that this issue is only on that model but when I updated the watch it went in sequential order, that is to say instead of just one update (the most recent) it did all the updates one at a time in order of there release,it did updates starting with the date of 2023! It took 2 full charges and there was atleast a dozen! But its still supported and running the latest samsung UI 6,2025 is the last year of updates for the watch 4. Again for under 60 dollars this is the first tech item I have bought in a long time where I feel I got a really good deal! Definitely would recommend, still holds a good charge and I cant stress enough literally looks brand new!

Includes knockoff charger which is 40% slower than the Samsung charger & gets very hot
So far, the watch is great. It is in excellent condition as described (I haven't been able to test battery life yet, I'll update once I've had some time to test this). The watch and band looked new, apart from some dust. One flaw with buying renewed is that the vendor does not supply an OEM Samsung charger, but an absolutely TERRIBLE knockoff Chinese charger. It works, but it is very slow and gets very hot. And for an already slow charging watch, that's a bad thing. The included charger took 20m just to add 5% (from 25 to 30 so I could install a software update), and said it would take 1h 49m to charge to full from 30%. That is far slower than advertised. Since I'm replacing a Galaxy Watch Active 2, I decided to drop it onto the OEM Samsung charger (which has the same 5V/1A rating as the generic one that was included allegedly does, and is the same official charger this watch comes with when new), and the time to full dropped to 1h 23m for the same 30-100%, and gained 7% charge in just 10 minutes, instead of 5% in 20 minutes like the generic charger did. It also doesn't heat up the watch nearly as much as the generic charger. The generic charger, according to my laser thermometer, has the watch at 49C after 20 minutes while the watch on the OEM Samsung charger is at 42C after the same 20 minutes. That is a huge difference, and doing that to the battery every time it is charged is a sure fire way to take months off the battery lifespan. So expect to have to shell out another $10 for an OEM Samsung charger if you don't want to torture the battery to a premature death by using a charger that heats up the watch significantly and charges 40% slower than the OEM charger. Watch: 5 stars Charger: 0 stars If I hadn't already gone through the effort of setting it up, I'd just have returned the whole thing over this charger issue, since the provided charger is clearly not an OEM equivalent as guaranteed by the "Amazon Renewed" program. Battery life update 1: as long as you do not use the continuous SpO2 monitoring during sleep, the battery life is actually quite good. I can get just shy of 3 full days with 2 nights of sleep tracking as long as SpO2 monitoring is not enabled. With it disabled, it consumes about 8-10% overnight. With continuous SpO2 monitoring during sleep enabled, it uses about 30-35% overnight. That's a huge difference. It seems the LEDs for monitoring SpO2 are very inefficient, since the green heart rate tracking LEDs don't use much power at all, comparatively, since those remain on 24/7, and barely drain 1% every 2-3h. I do keep AOD disabled, but I will test in the coming days with AOD enabled to see if it is reasonable to keep it enabled on this device and how much power it uses. Still, the battery life is significantly better than my old Watch Active2 which lasted about 30h (at best) with everything except heart rate monitoring disabled (no lift to wake, no touch to wake, basically the screen was set to come on only when there's an alert or I pressed the buttons). I have all of the wake features enabled on this device, along with far more app alerts enabled, and the battery life is still a significant improvement over the Watch Active2.

What a great watch for a great price
I've had this watch almost 2 years now and it has been flawless. Still getting updates on OS and software, ease of use, and stability of operating system continues to improve with every one. Love it love it love it!

AMAZING Quality, Works Great, Minor Complaints.
I purchased the silver 42mm version and this thing is just beautiful. Had it for almost a week, no issues outstanding issues. Installed Spotify and YouTube Music. Outstanding audio, I was amazed at how loud it can get. Wild to me that this is under $100. I do have a few minor complaints; The watch came to me with 10% battery left yet it was powered off. Secondly, it took me 20 minutes to figure out how the wrist bands go on. If you have no nails, it's really hard and there's no directions on which way it goes on. The watch was also MULTIPLE software updates behind, and not only that, the updates (especially UI Version 6.0) EAT your whole battery, pretty annoying. Aside from that the watch is amazing, I would most definitely buy this again.

Great smartwatch, but battery depends heavily on settings!
The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is a really solid smartwatch overall. It’s responsive, looks great, and has all the features I needed for fitness tracking, notifications, and everyday use. The only real downside is the battery life. If you leave the display always on, it drains very quickly, less than 6 hours in my experience. However, switching to battery-saving settings (turning off always-on display and adjusting a few features) makes a huge difference, and I can get close to 2 days of use. So it really comes down to how you use it. With the right settings, it performs well, but out of the box battery life can be a bit disappointing.
