Overall, this heated acetone remover does what it's supposed to do and makes removing dip powder and acrylic nails easier than soaking in a regular bowl. The heat definitely helps speed up the process compared to room-temperature acetone. The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that it still takes quite a while, and since it only accommodates one hand at a time, the entire removal process can be very time-consuming. Additionally, my biggest concern is the temperature. The bowl gets very hot—hot enough that it can become uncomfortable if left on continuously. There is no temperature control dial, and the instructions recommend periodically turning the unit off and then back on to help regulate the heat, and I found that advice necessary to keep it at a comfortable temperature.
