I took a chance on ordering this disc. I have a Bose Wave IV. I won't return it for repair of cd not working because I use the radio everyday. Bought this brand. A review stated to put the cd in, if it didn't work, to remove it then reinsert. Did that 5 times per the review with no results. Tried it again the next day, and it's working. I took a chance because if this didn't work, I was going to purchase a cd player. My cd player is now working on all modes (shuffle repeat, shuffle, etc). Hopefully if anyone tries this for their Bose, it will work. The cd comes with 2 little brushes attached to the bottom. One reviewer said one of the brushes came off in their Bose. That was a concern, I was careful and fortunately that didn't happen.

Product came quickly. It cleaned the lens great. CD’s are playing great now. Package was damaged but the disc was in good condition.

I have a Bose Sound Wave Music System that is only two years old but the CD player in it suddenly stopped working. Every disc I inserted said "not playable". I was reluctant to try one of these lens cleaning discs because there are those it works for but so many that it doesn't. I decided to take a chance - all I would lose would be $10. I inserted the cleaning disc and it said "not playable". I ejected it and inserted it again. "Not Playable". On the third eject and insert, I heard the disc move a little. Eject and insert the 4th time and it moved a bit again. On the 5th insert (still saying "Not Playable"), I heard the disc moving for 2 or 3 seconds. After I ejected, I inserted a music CD and IT PLAYED from beginning to end, no stopping, no skipping. I have since played two more CD's and they played fine. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that this solved the issue and my CD's continue to play. I do not know if my music CD would have played after 3 or 4 ejects because I didn't try until after I heard the cleaning disc moving on the 5th try. So if this doesn't work for you after a try or two, keep ejecting and inserting for a few more times and see if that works.

This disc cleaner did not work in my Bose system, so I tried it in a cheap boombox that I had lying around, didn’t work there either. Stay away- this is a waste of your hard earned money!

I have a disc/radio unit hanging under kitchen cabinet to provide music while I cook and clean. After many years, it started to skip. I ordered this cleaning disc and it did the trick. Works good as new--and that's a good thing! It will live another day.
