The product was delicious when pan fried with Emeril's Bayou seasoning. The product comes in a freezer pack, but the product, although cold, is no longer frozen upon arrival, so you need to be prepared to cook it up and enjoy it right away. I am definitely going to re-order more and try it on the grill.

My product came in a thawed out very hot packaging and the meat itself was not vacuum packed. I took videos and pictures of it it was very warm. There is air all around the alligator meat in the vacuum bag and there's no leaks on the bag

$80 Package arrived thawed & leaking but since it was non refundable, I fried it up right away. It was good quality alligator, Tender & delicious!! I didn’t even marinate or tenderize beforehand. I probably won’t purchase again unless they have it on sale because 2 pkgs only fed 3 people. However, if you can afford it, I highly recommend!

Never tried this before but now I'm hooked. This was a big hit on the BBQ for the family. I marinated the fillets in BBQ sauce for 2 hours then grilled it on the BBQ for about 15 minutes turning often. Amazing! I highly recommend. It's a bit expensive but if you can afford it, go for it.

I was pleased that the item came so quickly. What alarmed me was it was completely thawed and nearly room temperature to the touch. This, in spite of being packed between blue ice packs in a thermal bag. It's hot in the summer so, dry ice and styrofoam is what's needed. Ask Omaha Steaks how it's done! I've never had thawed meat arrive from them. There was a concern that the meat would be spoiled. However we cooked it right away and it was delicious. I can't recommend this as a gift until the packing corrected so that it arrives still frozen, even in the hottest summer months. The meat was $25, but the shipping was $15, so please improve the packing before shipping. I would not mind paying extra for shipping if the meat came frozen as it should.
