Outstanding Product
Fits perfectly on Aventon handlebars and accommodates everything very well. The carbon fiber tube looks awesome, and the mounting brackets worked perfectly, be patient to get the bar positioned and centered just right and tighten it up. FYI, had to send the 1st one back as it was missing 3 out of 4 screws, amazon shipped the replacement and had it the next day with all the parts. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Discreet and effective.
This extender solved my problem: Handlebars with aero routing of cables have little space for accessories. I would have purchased this a couple years ago, but I thought a handlebar extender would span the width of the handlebar and would be ugly. I had little interest in a large, conspicuous product. Thank goodness this product is only wide enough to mount at minimum 3 accessories with comfortable space between. This product makes me smile because you might be able to link more of these extenders together to install even more accessories. So...is it really carbon? I don't know and I don't care. It's light and those handlebar stays are sturdy. One of my photos shows the scratches I put on the bar during installation. If it's a carbon bar, a clear plastic coating protects the bar, but that coating scratches easily. I do not care about the scratches. I expect I will have accessories installed on that bar at all times. My other photo shows there is only 3.5 CM of space between a 31.8mm handlebar and this extender. Those space limitations forced me to install a bike light mount facing toward my seat (and turn it 180 degrees so it would shine forward) because there was no way to install it with correct orientation. You might see some reviews that say this extender fails to clamp the handlebar, which causes it to drop down and become useless. If you have a 31.8 handlebar, you will not need to use the shims and this device will not allow that extender bar to move anywhere. I found this installed quickly and securely. For those of you asking if this extension is suitable as a handle, I would say no. It's just for installing bike accessories and it creates only 3.5 CM of space between your handlebar and this accessory bar. I have purchased 3 other GUB accessories; this company knows milled aluminum handlebar mounts. The greatest compliment I can offer this company is that I am going to buy another one of these extenders for my other bike.

Good Quality but Small Diameter Auxiliary Tube
Like someone else here, I bought these to solve space issues with Shimano sub brakes taking up mounting real estate on drop bars. The machined aluminum clamps are well made and went over the 32mm (1 1/4") handlebars with no problem, and they fit nicely between the stem and the brakes. The carbon fiber tube (actual carbon fiber) is very lightweight, but only about 21.5mm (≈7/8") in diameter. This makes mounting clamps that were designed for larger diameter handlebars a bit sketchy, and I was unable to securely attach the strap-on bar mount for my computer which consequently remains on the stem. I carefully removed 47mm (≈1 5/8") from the tube to keep it from interfering with access to the levers (how I know it's actually carbon fiber). I was going to remount the end plug, but decided to use a slip-on cap as it makes a convenient storage spot for something small and light. Quality product. Just wish it had a larger diameter auxiliary tube.

Workmanship is nice.
Light weight and vell made clamps. If you wanted to stack another one on this 0ne, to have Two you would have to have a adapter. I have two stacked. i took thier smaller adapter and ground dowwn the ends enough that tey fit the carbon fiber rod. then i used black electrical tape on the carbon fiber rod where it clamps on to increase it's diameter a little. it took 5 wraps of tape to make the rod larg enough. it clamped down perfect. wrap tape nicely to get a nice looking job.

The Real McCoy
This was a piece of cake to install and adjust. The cf is amazingly light weight. I have an electronic bell on main handlebar of my stand-up e scooter, plus oem bell, so I use this for my bike light with rubber strap. I can still add another accessory or two, although I don't have a need to get a phone mount. I'm sure I'll come up with something else. The cf bar definitely adds to the look of my scooter. I would purchase this again if needed, w/o reservation.

Strange design
Not sure what they were thinking when they designed this. The clamps the ago in your handle bar are standard 31.8 cm so that works fine on lost handlebars. But the the additional bar that apparently is to mount things such al lights is a much smaller diameter. Hence any thing that is designed to mount to a standard handlebars will not work. In fact the diameter is so small that I could not get any of my lights to work on this. I am not sure what the thinking is here, what is its function suppose to be? It is sturdy and mounts just fine, so if you can figure a use for it then it is OK

I got this from a bike packer guy on YouTube and I used it to hold my tent away from crushing my cables and it worked flawlessly. Highly recommended and weighs almost nothing.

This is well made the clamps are machined with precision its a very useful gadget for your bike. Very simple to install. Such a great addition to the bike for all the extra gadgets you want to mount.

Very easy to install. Gives you some extra front bar mounting options. Light weight and pretty strong. Angle and lateral mounting options abundant. Only problem is that they do not include inner spacing rings. My handle bars are very narrow and the mounting ring was way too large in diameter. I had to search around to find a spacer that would grip the handlebar for secure attachment. Big and careless omission on the part of the company. But if you can mount it properly it is well worth the money.
