Good but aggressive
These Ceramic sharpening rods are very effective however even the white fine one I found to be very aggressive and a better finish could be achieved by finishing with a traditional steel.

Excellent well made sharpener
I purchased both of the wusthof sharpeners and must say they are excellent.The blue one being coarse is only required for a very dull abused blade and quickly puts a sharp edge back on. The white sharpener is much finer and puts the final edge on.
