Wow! One Last Stop is a must read!!
One Last stop is such a beautiful book, the characters are realistic and it really pulls you in and makes you not want to stop reading. A few breaks is needed but I could totally see One Last Stop being made into a movie or a tv series and hell I’d pay to watch it. I loved how August was the one to save Jane and the ending was so good. When you thought Jane was gone but she comes back when you think she can’t. I highly recommend this book! It’ll blow you away. Surely this can be made into a movie/series right? 🩷

An unexpected love story!
One Last Stop has been on my tbr for over a year. I finally took a chance on it and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. What can you expect from this book? 🌈 meet cute 🌈 sapphic romance 🌈 slow burn 🌈 queer found family 🌈 NYC setting 🌈 70's nostalgia It's a quirky, sweet, romantic and at times heartbreaking story. There's also a sci-fi element to make things even more interesting and i loved the twists that were thrown in. August and Jane are total opposites, where one is quiet, calculated and an introvert, the other is loud, brimming with energy and enjoying life to the fullest. But that's why they fit together so well, they complement each other. The way their relationship developed felt natural. It's a story about finding your place in the world, about belonging, about self-discovery and taking chances. Definitely worth reading!

Casey smashed it as always!
This book was just... wow I love Casey's work and writing style so I had really high hopes for this book, and it didn't disappoint I think I felt every possible emotion going through this book. There were moments of happiness, romance, growth, love, bitter sweetness, tension, comedy - it was all there I loved August in this book. I saw so much of myself in her, and that made it really easy to relate to the book and the story. Finding the family you choose, a place to be accepted, and finding yourself are all big themes in this book and it's done incredibly well. Jane is an amazing love interest - I am officially a massive simp! I also through the side characters were written extremely well and diverse Everything about this book just worked. It was very well paced and had just the right amount of romance and spice, but also building the plot and the background storylines around that to make the wheel experience tie together nicely This was other hands down 5 star for me and is definitely a new favourite of mine!

Sweet
3.5 stars. It was a sweet story. It made me laugh and smile and made me a little nostalgic for something I haven't really experienced. I liked the characters, they were all very fun. But I do feel like it could've been maybe 20% shorter. There was a bit nearing the end that I felt was a little unnecessary and made it drag a bit, but overall a good story.

Best book of 2025 for ms
Finished this in one sitting, cried over Jane & August, read it again and cried some more. Easily my favourite read of 2025 and my favourite sapphic book. Will probably reread it before the year is out.

So beautiful
I started this book thinking it was going to be another cutesy queer romance, I was not prepared for the complete mystery that is Jane Su! The queer scene in the 70's breaks my heart. These people paved the way for who I can be today and there's so many emotions tied to that. To those stories. Horror, gratitude, love, fear, joy. Pride. The last few chapters stressed me out and broke my heart. It was everything I didn't know I needed.

Beautiful story
I loved this book so much, I laughed and cried. A brilliant mix of mystery and fun, longing and belonging. One of the loveliest stories I've read, and I also really enjoyed the way it was written. Now going to look for more by this awesome author.

It got me out of my reading slump - fantastic!
I’ve been buying books for years, but failing to get beyond the first couple of pages. Perhaps I’ve fallen victim to my reduced attention span? Perhaps it’s because I keep buying dry sci-fi books that sound fascinating? Whatever the case, this book popped up on my radar after clicking on the “LGBTQ+ tag” and seeing it. I’m not the typical audience for this book - a mostly straight, white guy from England - but it grabbed me as soon as I started reading it. And I do mean that with no exaggeration. When I wasn’t reading this book, I was thinking of it and eagerly waiting until I was again. I did pace myself a little, but finished it in about a week. This book never strayed far from my thoughts. A week isn’t an especially quick time to read a book; but considering my recent failings, I’ll happily take it. I found it intoxicatingly lovely, sweet, charming, and beautiful. Yes, it can be a little clichéd at times - *cough* psychics *cough* - but the characters are great. They’re well written and I found myself wanting to meet them. The found family dynamic was great as well. I also think this would make a great movie, though I’m already preemptively worried they’ll butcher it. In summary, I truly do love this book, and I’d like to thank Mrs McQuiston for getting me interested in actually reading again.
