POTEK 2000W Power Inverter 3 AC Outlets 12V DC to 110V AC Car Inverter with 2A USB Port Black

This is a good inverter, it has been used for a 300Watt 100A/H solar panel/battery system and its powering a TV, chest freezer, and other things. Its been used constantly for more than 50 days since the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Love the feature that the fan only turns on when the unit is hot. 6/16/2018- Th inverter is still working, it's being used periodically with no issues. I already own 3 more and they are also working fine. 9/9/2018- Still working. 10/24/2019- Still working. 1/03/2020- 1 stopped working, possible fuse or switch is bad. Getting to the fuses is not that easy they should improve the design to have them external. See picture. 03/22/2020- The unit blew 4 fuses. Replaced 4 fuses and when assembled it back and tested it, the fuses burned again. Will stop troubleshooting since there has to be a short somewhere.

I wanted to help my sister after Hurricane Maria. It has been over 6 months that she has not had power. I put together a system that I could order from Amazon and send most of the components to Puerto Rico directly. I ordered the SolarEpic 40A MPPT Solar Charge Controller, four Uni-Solar PVL-136 PowerBond PVL 136 Watt Flexible Solar Panels, a POTEK 2000W Power Inverter Three AC Outlets 12V DC to 110V AC and the miscellaneous cables and fuses. I prewired the controller and the inverter and wrote a detailed set of instructions on how to connect everything else. Luckily, I found in PR the batteries at Batteries Plus, and I ended up using two 12 vdc 155 Amp-hours for the project. My sister and my nephew installed the system 03/03/2018 and it has been powering her fridge, a few LED lights, a fan and charging phones and computers since with no problems. These products are outstanding and provide very impressive performance.

The primary purpose is/was to power an electric chain saw and occasionally my big drill and various grinders etc. I tested it out on the chain saw i used to clear some broken branches from storm damage, and it works like a champ, even when the saw is under heavy load. However, proof is in the pudding, and so I reserve the "5" rating for a time when I've successfully used it extensively.

I use this to power a small window ac unit. This is connected to a 12 volt 200ah lithium battery and 200 watt solar power. I dont recommend that you leave this powered on all the time. I find it drains my battery slowly even the 200watt panels can't keep up with the drain of this unit. I found that the fan on this unit runs if the car gets too hot inside. I live in texas so it's always running during idle and that will drain the battery. It's kinda funny cause this unit thinks it getting hot from a power load and is trying to cool itself off with its fan. Reality it's just inside a freaking hot car during a texas heat wave. Lol

It can handle a microwave, air frier and all 120v related appliances. I had this for 4+ years now and really been using it a lot lately with my travels. One thing to know is when not in use, turn the power off cuz I think this might still pull some juice out of the batteries. I've been running this with 2 230ah 12 lipo4 batteries and haven't had any problems

I had bought this unit to replace a 1500 watt or smaller unit and it installed great and worked for a couple weeks and then just stopped. I had only used low power units to be charged. Items like rechargeable flashlights, small power tool rechargeable battery packs. I have 12.50 volts going into the unit but nothing turns on or is coming out of the unit.

Bought this inverter and 7 months later it quit working, I reached out to Potek and they immediately responded, they appologised and quickly shipped me another with no hassle. They asked some questions about the use of the inverter, batteries used with it and load running and a few other things but with no hesitation they replaced it. Nothing but good things to say about them. The inverter itself worked good and was powerful enough to run everything in my RV but happened to stop working. For piece of mind knowing that Potek will stand behind their product, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

Works really good. Does what we needed it to. Easy install. Only complaint was that the cables were too short but we just bought longer ones.

Excellent...been in use for a few months no issues what so ever except forgot to shutoff once and it drained the trucks battery once over a weekend.

Exactly what I have been looking for. Well made......hooked a battery to Inverter with no problems using lights or certain power equipment.and USB. Proof is in the real emergency.... Thanks again

ok but not as powerful as I thought it might be but will do the job

i use it in my transport truck its a little hard on the batteries but i can't work with out it runs all my electronics
