Great Product
Bakers need this. Got it for my girlfriend because she loves baking. It stops the powders from kicking back up at her. Works very well. Fits good and locks on and is stable. Very easy to remove. Itโs also cheap and kitchen aide name brand. I recommend.

Super Fit
I was very worried about purchasing this for my mixer as I had read so many reviews about it not fitting or didn't perform the way they had expected. Well, I've used mine and I think it works great. It stays on my bowl and I am able to add ingredients and not have my spoon knocked out of my hand when adding more stuff to what I'm making. As far as flour flying out of the bowl, I don't have that problem either since I turn down the speed as I add it in. Love this little gadget and just rinse it off with a little Dawn soap in my hand and let it drip dry. It looks like I just took it out of the package. I love it!!!!!!

Works great on our KA Stand Mixer!
This mixing bowl cover is amazing! Ish I wouldโve found it years ago! Even my wife is excited for her cookie baking knowing how much less of a mess this will make! Fit the stainless Kitchenaide standing mixing bowl with handle I bought perfectly. Clips on and off effortlessly. Great addition for the stand mixer!

GREAT, but with a 1 star drop caveat
This is an excellent item. I just learned how to make butter with our Kitchenaid stand mixer. Previously, I used cut up paper plates to keep the buttermilk from flying out of the mixing bowl. I found this, bought it and it works perfectly, with one thing that should be done extra that would truly make this perfect. It has 2 large slots in it. One slot is for adding things to the mixing bowl. The second slot is to allow it to be removed. Both make sense. However, there needs to be some type of "cover" for these. Something that would snap on or slot in. Why? When doing something like making butter, you ramp up the speed and for the last 5 minutes you mix at high speed. By the final 3-5 minutes, the mixer is running at speed 8 or 10, the butter has been made, but the buttermilk has also been extracted. So, as this large hunk of butter is flying around in the bowl, it is splashing the buttermilk everywhere. At this point, you have to cover the two holes, otherwise buttermilk is splashing out of the mixer. To cover, I use a kitchen towel for the large hole and my hand for the adding hole. Your hand and the towel are then soaked. Not such a huge deal, but I get concerned that the mixer will grab the towel and drag it into the mix. By simply making two little caps to seal these openings, that makes a very good product great! They don't even have to seal tightly, they are just splash guards. While I relate this from a "making butter" standpoint, there are a lot of things that use liquids and high speed. Yes, I'd buy this again and would definitely recommend!
