Great Quality, Great Deal!
Just got mine in a couple days ago and I am so happy so far! They showed up earlier than initially projected which was nice! A few showed up with leaves already and within the two days over 15 of them have leaves or are about to have them. All of them have really well established root structure and are showing signs of life. Really impressed with these so far- a lot better than the bare roots you’ll find at stores. Will definitely be ordering more!

All plants are growing great.
When we got these, they looked like dirty weeds tied together in a rubber band. My wife separated them and said, "You're going to plant these. They look like weeds and I have doubts." Yes...there were some that looked healthier than others, but I figured that we'd give it a shot. Every single plant is thriving. The strawberry "plugs" are apparently very durable and robust, even if they don't look great when strapped together. I have a bunch of plants growing great on the patio and already producing fruit. NOTE: I'm realizing that I need more plants in the coming years. While they're growing great, and they're already tried to spread into the flower bed around the patio (a good thing for me), each plant only products a few strawberries. I eat a LOT of strawberries, so 25 plants is just a start. I need 100-150 to cover a summer (looking at current production). I've only had the strawberries planted for maybe 6 weeks and getting a few berries turning red right now. Perhaps they'll keep producing all summer, but even then, 25 plants won't overwhelm our kitchen. Perhaps this will change, but just know that you may need more than you think. That being said, my hope was to get most of the plants to grow and produce...and all of them are growing and producing. Product was just what I wanted.

Excellent and beautiful Strawberry Plugs, very responsive
I have to say, I was not impressed with the condition of the plugs when I got them, they look like they had been out of the soil for a few weeks before I got them , I did not expect many to survive but I put them in a Hydroponic cloner and every one of them , 100% recovered in less than 1 week. I now have new vegetative growth and the roots are pushing out new white fresh roots , the plants look like they are doing extremely well . Great plants. I would def buy them again if I ever need to.

great tasting strawberries that can be compact and willing to run.
So I ordered these albion and a set of seascapes. A few arrived dead but most arrived in good shape. They have been inside growing under my grow lights for the past few months. They are great plants and the fruit tastes amazing. I used a mix of peat 60%, perlite 15%, sand 10%, and wormcastings 15%. The mix drains well but can wick water up well from the bottom when bottom watering.

These survived the blazing California heat. First berries were delicious, but few in number.
Waited to give these berries a chance before reviewing. First of all, these bare roots arrived in excellent condition. I love, love, love strawberries and was excited at the prospect of having fresh berries with the dew still on them, anytime I want. But the Miserable Weather Gods (MWGs) were not having it. I put the berries in the ground as soon as I got them, fertilized them, played classical music, read to them from Leaves of Grass, and watered them with the purest water I could produce with my inline filter. Yet, all this plant pampering was doomed by the MANY days of unrelenting heat. One particular stretch was 30 days of over 100 F (almost 38 Celsius!) DAYAM! That's hot no matter who you are. Poor berries toughed it out, but didn't produce many blooms. Only a couple of precious berries, no matter what I did, including watering them multiple times per day. There's a reason that not much grows in the desert (HINT: It's the freaking heat!) and we turned into the desert where I live. The good news, though, is that the hot days are nearly over and the berry vines are spreading. I even got one or two delicious berries. If I over-winter these lovely plants, they may well produce a bumper crop by December or January. YAY! Great tasting, good for you and fun to grow if you don't live in a zone of unforgiving heat. (If you DO- cover with a sun cloth and water profusely. That might help.)

They grow hearty healthy plants that do exceptionally well once planted.
I have literally tried to kill these strawberry plants. Not intentionally but it sure seems like it. They arrived a day earlier than estimated and the buckets for my DWC growing system that was supposed to arrive the day before the strawberry plants got lost in shipment. I had to do something so I put them into net cups and placed them in a shallow bowl of water. I had to think fast on my feet so I took a five tier planter shelf with tray planters and converted it into a temporary flood and drain system and put the strawberry plants into it, just long enough for the buckets to arrive...I thought. I ended up having to order more buckets and hoped for the best with my temporary system. Then the temporary system failed because it only flooded and half drained so it nearly drowned my strawberries, actually 4 of the 27 that arrived looked completely dead and the others on their death bed. Thankfully the next morning my second order of buckets arrived and I transplanted them again to the new and hopefully permanent DWC buckets. The four plants that were looking beyond resuscitation were placed into a shallow tray with nutrients and a lot of positive energy and apologies sent from me to them. 2 days after being placed in their final location my other strawberry plants are thriving! Yay! And I have even spotted 2 brand new tiny leaves on 2 of the 4 that I said goodbye to, so they are making a miraculous recovery too. So I ordered 25 plants, I received 27, and in the end 25 are going to be just fine. I am still hopeful for the last two because I hate to see anything die, especially since I am the cause of their demise. I will definitely order from this seller again as this whole mess proved what hearty, healthy barefoot plants they grow and how quickly they ship. I will be prepared ahead of time for the next order. 😉
