Collection 1922-28

This 2cd set had the potential to fill a void in my jazz collection but boy what a disappointment. The volume setting is terrible in that every track is at a different sound level. The first time I played it I was up and down like a Jack rabbit; I was exhausted when it was finished.I don't know what the recording engineer was doing but he wasn't listening to this music.Fortunately I have found an ASV cd which is very good and while only half the tracks are there the quality is superior.
