Works well - nice clear display, small enough to store away, easy to clean as dishwasher friendly and looks good.

Reasonable quality for the price

My kitchen scales from Duronic failed to work out of the box after installation of the batteries. By putting a bit of cardboard in the battery compartment it seemed to improve things and now the scales sometimes work although I sometimes have to open up the battery compartment and jiggle the batteries and card to get the scales to turn on. I am very disappointed and I was going to return them but after looking at other brands I found that the reviews were mostly negative about the quality and not working so I will make do with what I have for now.

These digital kitchen maybe arn't as straightforward as one might expect. They're in no way faulty or dodgy. However they take abit of getting used to. I have tried to show how to turn them on and turn them off in the included video. Please note, in order to turn them on you need to apply a firm amount of pressure, if they're not turning on it might be that you need to apply more pressure. There is no "ON" button and the off/tare button does both turning them on and turning them off. To tare, you tap it. To turn off you hold it in for a few moments. These scales will preserve battery by making the display go darker when not used after a few moments but by simply by adding another item to the bowl or by pressing a little on it the display will be bright and clear again and won't have forgotton anything. The bowl can also be removed during the baking process and put back on and it'll remember the weight just fine. You can even remove the bowl in the process of weighing, add another ingredient to the already weighed ingredient, return the bowl and it will give the correct combined weight. Whilst these scales arn't exactly straightforward they are, once you know the basics very easy to use. They're also very accurate with a large and clear display and responsive buttons. I weighed a packet of Mccoys in my video. The entire packet weighed 27 grams however they're only a 25g packet of crisps so that means the empty crisp bag weighs 2g and therefore the crisps weigh 25g as labelled on the packet. These are very accurate!! I also used these scales to weigh my beloved kitten when checking if he weighed enough for some flea and worming treatment. I placed them on the floor for this and little kitty jumped straight in by himself. Again, they gave me an accurate weight and he was infact lighter than i thought so we got the flea and worm treatment from the vets instead! Absolutely love these scales even if they do take a little getting used to. It's great they're made by Duronic too. I have a few Duronic items and they have never broken so i believe these will last a long time too.

The scales have a really annoying feature that even during measuring (e.g weighing out some flour or sultanas) the screen goes blank and you can't read the weight. You have to keep tapping it to get the display back on, but a few seconds later, it goes blank again. I don't know if it is faulty or not, but I've missed the return window. Be aware, if you buy this scale.

Very happy with size of bowl, accuracy and size of this.

Der Einschaltmechanismus (der Wiegeteller soll angeblich gedrückt werden) hat dermaßen mangehaft funktioniert, dass er nach nur 2 Monaten Benutzung den Geist aufgegeben hat. Jetzt werden falsche Grammzahlen angezeigt (z.B. 773 bei einem vollen Paket von 500 g etc. Ärgerliche Schrottpoduktion!
