Pros Overcome the Cons
I use these as a greener (and more comfortable) substitute for pads. Here are my thoughts: 1) They're comfortable. And they don't leak like pads when I sleep. In fact, I haven't had them leak at all. Yay! 2) The underwear are black, so it can be hard to tell when they're full. But I can usually see where they're damp, and when the damp patch hits the piping along the leg holes, that's a good indicator. 3) I'm 5'3", about 124lb. After reading others' reviews, I bought a Large. They are, well, large on me, fitting more like a Hanes 7 or 8 underwear (I usually wear 6 and they're plenty roomy). 4) They take forever and a day to dry after washing. Like, I'd hang them up by my woodstove and they still weren't dry after 24 hours. I get that they're supposed to be absorbent, but that's just not going to work when I need to use them again! Rolling them in a towel a few times after washing and gently squeezing to get the water to seep into the towel helps a lot, bringing the drying time down to 4-10 hours (depending on conditions and how much water I was able to get out). 5) I haven't yet been able to test these under very sweaty conditions; hopefully they won't leak (I've had issues with other similar underwear, but it's a little cold for that this time of year). Overall, I'm very happy so far with these and hope they'll last for quite a while.

Coverage is Key
This is my second attempt at menstrual underwear. For a while I had a brand (can’t remember what it was) that was crazy tight and the absorbent part only covered about as much as a panty liner. Every morning I would have leaked up my buttcrack. I haven’t slept in these new ones yet but so far they’re so much better. The absorbent part goes halfway up the front and all the way up the back. It does narrow out toward the top so I’m a bit worried about that but otherwise very hopeful. I’m usually between a medium or large but got medium due to other reviews. They’re a bit tight but that will just help keep them in place. I like the thick waistband and it’s sewn into place so won’t move around once washed. The real star of the show and what even prompted me to write a review is the gusset. If you have a vagina you know that most underwear designers think that we just barely need a gusset to cover us. Whoever made these knew wider is better. I didnt get out a ruler but I would say the medium is about three inches wide at the narrowest part. This week is my first chance to really test these panties. If they hold up to my expectations I’ll leave this review as is, if they disappoint me I’ll be back in the next week to edit it.

Don't wash them in the regular laundry, they'll thank you for it.
They are nice and comfortable for the first couple of weeks. But then they got machine washed by accident and the waist band started fraying. So yeah, I recommend having a separate hamper for them in the bathroom, a small hanging bag works, and washing them by hand in a bucket or sink and warm to cold water works best (hot just sets the blood) and use gentle detergent. No fabric softener needed. Be good to them and they will take care of you. And they fit nicely.

Works so well
I am 47. I have a period since I was 11. the kind where you you feel like a Carrie movie. I never wear tampons and pads are just a no go to much latex and perfume and leakage for me. After years of reusable pads which are great along with the disposable underwear from always but again the perfume etc my poor body needed a break. I have a few pair of the THINX brand high waisted panties and they are awesome I do not have to wear anything else with them and that was my goal , women should not be packing layers and la wa s246yer in our crotch area and bleeding that is just asking for trouble and bad ph balance.. but the price of THINX is high so off to AMAZON I went .. and I saw these... all black which was fine not high waisted which I needed I am a mother of 7 I have had 4 c sections I weigh 213 was 246 when I bought my first 3 pack so I kinda like that over the belly undie.. but hey I was really going for the hold my tears of my uterus for me... When they arrived there was no smell and no odd strings and everything looked good . I washed them and they did not bleed dye and I tossed them in my dryer and all was well.. I am busy so no hand washing and hanging on the line for me .. I use simple dye free fragrance free powder detergent cause these go on my lady bits `and she gets treated like Queen Mother always .. then I waited for my period and they did not disappoint , one pair could last by itself for two hours on my second through 5th days which are my hella no it is not 2 tablespoons of blood total loss during a cycle my butt thank you CDC ... If I have to push 3 hours well lets just say It will start to leak .. some of my cycle days have been so heavy 2 hours resulted in leakage that came through my pants and in my office chair .. thank goodness for leather seats lol I give this information to help those understand I am using these as pads.. so I carry a waterproof bag with two sides (like you would carry cloth diapers) one for clean and one for wet ..I carry while at work 8 hours about 4 pair plus what I left home with and a back up disposable.. I also carry a perri bottle to rinse with .. a trick a learned having babies and from gynecologist... when I get home i toss the whole bag in wash... I own about 10 pair of underwear but with my weight loss I do need to replace the THINX and I will replace with this brand... I cannot say how they do at night time as I do not sleep with anything because at night I use a towel and free bleed per gynecological studies. I have only bought this brand on Amazon and they have the 5 blood drops that clam the super heavy and they have held up to the name .. I will address a few of the issues some have said in their reviews ... the bleaching in the crotch ... ya'll that is you ... our vaginal PH is capable of bleaching our undies at times... it is not the product but you ... nothing is wrong with you it is normal.. .. The only two cons that I have with product are they are all black which is fine but to check to see if they need to be changed I have to run tissue on the underside and edges to see of blood is leaking over .. and because slight ammonia smell that we normally don't smell in our other panties because they are absorbing blood a mucus and slight drops of urine the peri bottle rinse has helped with this of course as does the application and usage of Lume deodorant.. Anyway as a whole not only is this product worth it money wise 3 pair for 20.00 i have 6 pair that have lasted 4 years at least, they do the job so well I mean this no extra pads, no tampons , no cups.. they have not broken me out and caused issues ... period underwear is such a freedom.. So get you some ...

mixed results
I recently tried out the ZVZK Period Panties, and my experience with them has been somewhat mixed. While they offer a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to traditional menstrual products, there are a few aspects that left me feeling somewhat disappointed. First and foremost, I appreciate the concept of period panties as an environmentally friendly and reusable option. The idea of avoiding disposable pads or tampons is commendable, and the ZVZK Period Panties provide an opportunity to reduce waste and save money in the long run. However, I found that the absorption capabilities of these panties were not as effective as expected. While they do offer some level of protection, I experienced leakage on heavier flow days, which was disappointing and inconvenient. The lack of sufficient absorbency meant that I had to rely on additional menstrual products, defeating the purpose of using period panties alone. The comfort level of the ZVZK Period Panties was average. The fabric used is soft and breathable, which is a plus. However, I found that the fit was not as snug and secure as I would have liked. The panties tended to shift and bunch up, which caused discomfort and made me feel less confident about their ability to provide reliable protection. I must mention that the sizing options for these period panties seemed limited. Finding the right fit can be a challenge, as the available sizes may not cater to all body types. A wider range of sizes would be beneficial to accommodate a more diverse customer base. In terms of care and maintenance, the ZVZK Period Panties require extra attention. The recommended washing instructions include hand-washing or delicate machine cycles, which can be time-consuming and inconvenient, especially during a busy menstrual cycle. The longevity of the panties may also be a concern, as frequent washing and wear could potentially affect their overall durability. On the positive side, the design and aesthetics of the ZVZK Period Panties are appealing. The variety of colors and styles available allow for personal preference and individual expression. The discreet and slim profile of the panties is also a plus, as they can be worn discreetly under various clothing options. In conclusion, the ZVZK Period Panties offer an eco-friendly and reusable alternative to traditional menstrual products. However, the limited absorbency, average comfort, sizing limitations, and extra care required for maintenance were factors that affected my overall satisfaction. While they may work well for lighter flow days or as backup protection, heavier flow days may require additional menstrual products for reliable leak-proof coverage.

MUST HAVES!
I absolutely love these! I’ve never had them leak and I have heavy periods. They’re super soft and comfortable and they don’t ride up either. The size is true to size as well. Definitely going to buy a couple more sets to have on hand! Definitely worth the money all the way. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT THEY STILL BREATHE! So it’s nice to not get so smelly on your period.

Super absorbent and comfy but
Super absorbent and pretty comfortable. However, they’re a little awkwardly sized. A small is more like an extra small, it cuts my cheeks and the panty line is pretty noticeable for that. Otherwise they are great
