After obsessing for weeks about whether to buy a $200+ smart scale or the RENPHO at literally one tenth of the cost of the expensive scales, I decided that I would take a chance on RENPHO. This scale did, after all, make everyone's list of best scales as the best budget option. My only reservation was that I am a Garmin Connect user, and there was no way to directly upload data from the scale to my Garmin account. So far, I am very happy with the RENPHO. Setup with the RENPHO app was super-easy, and I was recording my weight and body composition in no time, and the data seem to be accurate. As far as connecting the data to my Garmin account, I was unable to implement a free GitHub application for syncing data from RENPHO to Garmin. I have some technical skills, but implementing the app was too difficult. So, I decided to purchase a subscription to a service for syncing to Garmin. The setup for that service was not exactly straightforward, as you have to first sync the data to Fitbit and then to Garmin, and there are sometimes delays in the syncing. But it does work satisfactorily. If Garmin ever upgrades its current S2 smart scale, I may switch over, but, for now, I am quite happy with the RENPHO scale.

I’ve only had the scale a couple weeks. I got it at a very reasonable price. So far it’s great! It was easy to set up, connects easily to the app and features a lot of information. The RENPHO app is great too. It connects with its other products and has a nutrition tracker too. Great scale!

Connectivity has been the best part of this scale. Syncs cleanly with the Renpho app and pushes data straight into my Garmin app, which is exactly what I wanted. Cheap for what it does — most smart scales at this price point don’t play this nicely with other platforms. As for accuracy, the weight reading seems consistent, but the body fat and other body composition numbers should be taken with a grain of salt. That’s true of pretty much every consumer scale that uses bioelectrical impedance — they’re better at tracking trends than giving you a real number. Use it to spot direction, not as a medical readout. Pros: • Easy to set up • Syncs with Garmin, Apple Health, Fitbit, Google Fit, etc. • Solid value for the price • Sleek, low-profile design • Supports multiple users Cons: • Body fat / composition readings are ballpark at best • Needs bare feet on the metal sensors to read anything beyond weight • App pushes notifications you’ll probably want to mute Tips: • Weigh at the same time of day, same conditions, for consistent tracking • Watch the trend line, not the daily number • Make sure the floor is hard and flat — carpet throws it off

I bought this scale because I went to a chiropractor's office and they had one there. They showed me how to it can Bluetooth the information when you stand on the scale to your smartphone. I love it. It doesn't only tell you your weight. It tells you, your BMI and all this other information that no other scale would tell you. This is even better information than you get from going to the doctor's office scale. It's very easy to clean paired the display is beautiful. The battery life lasts a long time. The size is perfect. It's very easy to read it, but the information really goes to your phone. It is really a great scale. My daughter used it a couple times at my house, then she bought one for herself because she said it was awesome. I highly recommend it

I bought this to track my progress and my wife's progress through our fitness goals. As a competing strength athlete and a person building a fitness/wellness business, I have found this scale to be very useful in the few weeks I have been using it personally and very simple to understand. The only issue I have had was the initial Bluetooth pairing of my phone, but that could have been some user error. My wife had much less trouble than I did. Great scale.

I absolutely love this scale for one very simple reason: it quietly tracks all my health progress without requiring me to maintain a chaotic spreadsheet, random screenshots, or a deeply concerning Notes app entry titled “Weight Stuff.” The app makes it incredibly easy to track trends over time, and after using it for over two years, I genuinely didn’t realize how much I appreciated that convenience until I watched a friend struggling to manually enter their weight into the Notes app every day like it was some sort of ancient record-keeping ritual. I liked this scale so much — and thankfully the price point made it reasonable — that I immediately ordered one for them as well. Now I have over two years of weekly weight data neatly tracked in one place, which has actually been incredibly helpful for understanding patterns, progress, and the occasional consequences of “just one dessert.” The scale itself works great, syncs easily, and gives a much more complete picture than just a random number flashing at you first thing in the morning. My only tiny complaint is that I wish the app allowed font size adjustments because some of us are trying to track our wellness journey without simultaneously testing our eyesight. Though, to be fair, glasses are apparently also an available solution. Overall, highly recommend for anyone who enjoys data, accountability, or quietly competing against previous versions of themselves. Now… just wait until Palantir or Amazon gets ahold of this data...

This is a great smart scale with a great price. It tells me everything I need to know and the app is very user-friendly. This is my second one and I plan on buying one for my mom when she starts fitness journey soon! It’s also very sleek and modern looking.

Lo mejor es que se puede conectar con el móvil mediante su app, donde te muestra el peso y te ayuda a fijar objetivos (mantener, perder o ganar peso). También se puede vincular con Apple Health, lo cual es muy práctico para llevar un control más completo. La precisión es buena para el precio que tiene y, en general, ofrece muchas funciones por unos 30€. Muy contento con la compra.

I’m genuinely impressed with the RENPHO Elis 1 Body Fat Scale. For the price, it offers incredible value. Setup was a breeze - just install the app, connect via Bluetooth, and you’re good to go in under 2 minutes. What really stands out is the amount of data it provides beyond just weight - body fat %, muscle mass, water %, metabolic age, and more. It syncs effortlessly with the app and helps me track my progress over time in a very clear and visual way. It looks sleek in the bathroom, feels sturdy, and handles multiple users without confusion. If you’re serious about understanding your health metrics and want a reliable, smart scale that doesn’t break the bank, this is it.

I am a student of accredited Human Nutrition degree and we use various professional equipment for body composition readings at the university. I have tested this scale against our very expensive bio-impedance scale and they both have pretty similar readings, which only shows that this is a good quality personal body composition scale! Obviously, there will always be differences in results from various body composition methods as the perfect method wasn't discovered yet, except post mortem tissue analysis! So far, bio-impedance methods are highly accurate and good indicator of where you stand. This scale is very easy to use and the fact that you can connect it to your phone is pretty awesome! The value is also great, I can only recommend!
