It's ok as a cushion, not cushy but it saves you from the pain of hours on hard flat wooden seats. It's easy to carry, lightweight, easy to store.

Bought this as I fly frequently and my butt seems to go numb as the airlines continue to cut back on creature comforts. Working pretty good, it's thick, and folds in half so it takes up a good bit of space in the one personal item you're allowed to take on board. I usually put this in my personal item and carry a neck pillow. Haven't tried carrying both on outside the personal item as the gate staff seem to be flagging people left & right more frequently for what they claim as infractions on the i item rule.

Not so comfortable with bad back. Not thick enough

Recommended by a relative who uses this for back pain when traveling. Too soon to know if it helps my husbands pain. Appears well made and folds in half with handle for easy carrying.

the gel cushion is way to hard

Recently I've noticed that I've been getting pretty restless on flights and my butt and legs get achy. I came across this portable travel seat and after purchasing it, I don't think I can travel without it now! I have used it for short domestic flights, and it served well on my plane ride to/from Hawaii.I love that it's quite compact, thin, and foldable so you can throw it in your backpack or small duffel bag that goes under your seat so you can take it out when you get on the plane and stash it away quickly when deplaning.

Takes up a good chunk of space if you are trying to travel with it on a plane. It did make the 8 hour flight more comfortable. I sat on it for around 6 hours of the flight and did the last 2 without it. It started feeling hard after awhile .
