This was to hold cold food items and this worked out perfectly. The item blew up easily, I used an electric pump. It held the air the entire day. We filled it with ice and placed the cold dishes like pasta salad and condiments as well as shredded lettuce and onions in containers on top of the ice. A friend brought deviled eggs. Everything kept cold in 90 degree heat. At the end of the party, we removed the food items, and using the plug, very easily got rid of the water that had accumulated from melting ice. I highly recommend this item.
