I wear a size 38 or 40 most of the time. The size 38 for these shorts was about 4 inches too small. Measured closer to a size 34. So I would order a size or two large.

How does this fit for fat people?

I purchased a pair in my normal size but was notable to button them as the pants waist was too small. I am overweight but not overly fat so I would not recommend fat men not buy these pants in their normal size.
