This stays attached to my grill which stays outside in the brutal Midwest Winters and the hot, humid summers. The flexible head is just too convenient not to mention stays put where you want it and moves easily when you need to. If you're thinking about buying this product, then do it! When I tried to undo the three screws one of them would not come out.
