Oxford First Flashcards

Way too easy. There were too may words that are identical in French and English - why? It's silly. I got these for my elderly mom who has Alzheimer's, but used to know French well, but her mind is deceiving her now. She zipped through them. I know they're beginner cards, but to put so many words that are the same (or nearly) in both languages seems like a waste of card space. Granted, one would still need to learn them...

They are nice and good starter vocab cards for new learners, however, mine came printed where if you are showing the picture to someone, the printed word is upside down on the back. Not the end of the world but annoying. C'est la vie...

For absolute beginners only. We are bilingual parents, hoping to support our four-year-old in developing confidence in French. These were too basic for her and while there are several categories, i.e. colors, fruits/vegetables, numbers, none are thorough. Would be useful for someone who has NO prior experience with French, i.e. the title First French Flashcards is LITERAL.

I'm teaching my daughter french and these cards are exactly what I was looking for. I didn't find a lot of options out there but I'm pleased with the purchase. The illustrations are good too.

Great set of beginners flash cards.

Good added practice for my grandchild who is a beginner French student.

As an aid to teaching french to children these are next to useless. The illustrations aren’t distinct enough it’s often hard for a child to tell what the pictures are! And there are too few of them in each category. I found them to be very disappointing and unexciting for children.

My daughters is half french so ordered these to keep the French language going in our family. They have been a huge help not hat for her but for myself as well

Amazing if you’re starting to learning French

I chose Oxford flash cards because I thought they would be great quality, and I wasn't disappointed. These have lovely illustrations and they cover a lot of useful words in French. I bought these for my 2 year old and I to learn more French. For him, some of the pictures are a bit ambiguous, but in a year or two he would recognize them.

These flash cards are super! They are of an excellent quality and make learning french fun. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is teaching little ones french vocabulary.
