First, the hygrostat failed and couldn’t get a replacement. Fair enough, I bought a digital, external hygrostat to power unit on and off. Now the low water alarm goes off with three annoying beeps and it is 3/4 of way full! PLZ TAKE MY ADVICE - if it is digital, do not buy it from reptizoo! Or, hey, plan on replacing every 6 months. UPDATE: Reptizoo reached out to me! They replaced the unit with an updated version! Their Customer Service is making me eat my words! They did not even want the broken one returned. The only way I know how to thank them is to order another one for my other enclosure! Just purchased ANOTHER one for another enclosure!

Product works great! You do have to position the tube at just the right angle, but once you’ve found that it does a great job of regulating the humidity. We’re using it for one of our ball pythons’ tanks and it works great. With this humidifier, we know his humidity will be regulated and we don’t have to worry about it nearly as much. Highly recommend as a moderately inexpensive humidifier! The extra options of this version versus the basic humidifier are definitely worth the little bit of extra cost.

I got this for my veiled chameleon and it worked great... the first day. I got home from work the next day after setting it up and heard some weird noise coming from it. I go to check it out and water everywhere... I guess it wouldn't be that big of a deal except it was on top of some wooden furniture so hopefully it doesn't mess that up. It is also advertised Asa humidifier that doesn't leak so there's that too... oh did I mention it completely stopped working after not even 24 hours of having it? Yeah. I came home from work to find it leaked everywhere on some wooden furniture. I moved it after unplugging it and put it inside a tub to catch the water. Well it still turns on and the buttons and remote work but the machine refuses to actually produce anything. I've tried multiple outlets and I've waited a while and even tried multiple settings but to no avail.

Great product and holds alot of water. This system is large. Be sure while installing to lift the tank and remove the plastic inside. I missed this the first time. I ordered 2 of these and one worked flawlessly the other has a broken usb port at the base and will not read the humidity probe. I requested a replacement base and have not gotten a response yet. I believe once a new base is put on the broken one will work just as well as the other****UPDATE*** received a response and the seller is sending a replacement base for this product from China.

Wanted something to keep the humidity level consistent in my Eastern box turtle home. Been using a spray mist water bottle with some but not great success! Compared several and ordered this one. Good directions and easy to install. Love the remote control. Easy to add distilled water through the top lid without disassembling unit and without water dripping or leaking. My turtle absolutely loves this intermittent steaming feature. I can program minimum and maximum levels of humidity desired and feature works well. So far, really pleased with this purchase. I keep it on 24/7 so hoping motor holds up. So far, so good.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works really well

I was originally really happy with this when it first arrived, but it's only been a few months and already this thing has broken. It leaks constantly, which causes water to get into places it shouldn't and messes up the sensors so that it either never goes off when it should or never stops going off. I woke up this morning to my lizard's enclosure absolutely soaked. Not sure if i just got a defective one or what, but it was a waste of money. EDIT: This is not the update I wanted to make. I'll start with the good news. After I initially posted this review, the company was nice enough to send me a replacement which I thought was very generous and good customer service, and that is the only reason I'm giving this as many as 3 stars. Unfortunately, after only maybe a month of using the new one, it also broke, but this time in a different way. I've included a video this time. In the beginning of the clip, i am running the first one, the one that broke initially that I wrote the original review about. This is it running at full capacity, and as you can see, it's a pretty powerful flow. The second part is the new product also running at full capacity, and as you can see, it does not flow at all. I'm not sure what's caused this problem, and honestly I'm sick of this. While the old product's flow works fine, all the previous issues I wrote about initially still apply, and the newer one doesn't work at all with no flow. At this point i just wish I could be refunded so I can by a different product. At least the company attempted to make it right, but unfortunately they could not. This product just sucks.

Have had for about a year now and the humidity gauge quit working. So set a timer and still gets the job done!

Thank God I was I home early and then I saw that there was a humongous pile of wire, could've caused a house fire with the amount of stuff I've had, it's stupid of me trusting it. It worked amazing in the beginning but I guess the seal goes out over time.

The product works well and provide a good adjustable levels of fog but the humidity probe stopped working after 4 months, due, somehow, to a leak (there was water in the USB port). This probe was the reason why I bought this unit so this is pretty disapointing.
