Good Old Contact Cleaner - Not As Common Today!
WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner Spray, 11 oz. It is a WD40 product! I got this to clean sliding switches on some solar yard lights. It brought them back to life. If you have old fashioned mechanical switches, linear or rotary, this is what you need to keep them working at peak efficiency. It leaves no residue I can see (dries quickly), a little bit was enough, and just working the sliding switch on the solar light was enough to clean the switch contacts and revive the light. My lights have been working for a week now and that is with rain (light about .01 inch) and the sprinklers watering the lawn (95 degree + days). Good Stuff!

Cleans and Lubricates switches, buttons and knob controls
This stuff works great, I use it on radio turners , buttons and knobs. lubricates stuck buttons and eliminates static on volume controls and tuning knobs. I like the flip up straw you can use it with or without easily. The 11 oz can is a nice hefty size as I use alot of this stuff. Use it on CB radios, Stereos, Tape Decks anything electronic.

Another great product from WD-40
This spray works very well. My car's side mirror has a built in LED turn signal light that stopped working suddenly. I traced it down to one of the connectors with that typical green corrosion on the pins. I unplugged it and gave it a liberal dousing with this. Dried in about 45 seconds and plugged it back in. Lo and behold my indicator is working again. It cleans very well and dries fast, like brake cleaner. Definitely a worthwhile purchase in regards to electrical cleaning.

“Solid performance at a fair price – a practical choice for professional use”
⚡ WD-40 Contact Cleaner – Professional-grade efficiency at a budget price This was my first time trying this contact cleaner in my electronics lab, and I’m genuinely impressed. Despite its affordable price, it meets technical standards and delivers precise cleaning with no residue left behind. 🧪 I’ve used more expensive alternatives before, and this WD-40 Specialist performs just as well. 🎯 The built-in Smart Straw is a brilliant feature: it stays attached to the can and allows pinpoint application, perfect for delicate components. 💡 Overall, an excellent choice for professionals seeking reliable performance without overspending.

Fixed My Electronics Without Starting a Fire
I grabbed this to clean some crusty old switches and a volume knob that crackled like a campfire. One quick spray and everything smoothed out like it was brand new. It evaporates fast, doesn’t leave residue, and didn’t melt anything important — always a plus. Perfect for radios, remotes, connectors, and anything that’s gotten a little “electrically grumpy” over the years. A must‑have for any toolbox.

This Contact Cleaner Spray Fixed My Ceiling Fan
The ceiling fan in my master bedroom stopped working (just the fan, the lights kept working) maybe 2 years ago. Because its one of a matching set, I couldn't just replace it. So, set out replacing all the parts that normally go wrong, the pull chain to the fan, the 5-wire capacitor. Tested and rewired the fan's wall switch. Nothing worked. Finally after watching a number of "How to Fix a Ceiling Fan" videos online, I stumbled across one where the poster went thru a number of steps, with no results and then after trying everything else he sprayed some contact cleaner into the directional switch on the side of the fan, let it dry, and presto, it started working. So, I tried the same thing and my fan also (which I had worked on for days) came back to life. Ceiling Fan Troubleshooting and Repair, Not Spinning or Spinning Slowly is the title on You Toob by KAFKUBA.

Best Contact Cleaner on the market.
This contact cleaner truly is the best on the market. I love how it blasts away years of oil, grease and grime on automotive sensors and connectors. It good to see a trusted brand like WD-40 expand their market and continue to make a solid product. Also, this work infinitely better and is cheaper than the CRC contact cleaner.
