I wanted something I could hike in winter on muddy trails and not get my feet wet. These are perfect! Slipped into an icy river (twice!) and my feet stayed dry. Not even a speck of dampness came through the zipper. Even the bit of snow that snuck over the top of the boot warmed up quickly and I was not bothered by dampness or cold. I was also happily surprised by how supportive they are. I have high arches and most shoes don't support my feet enough. My only complaint is that they are a bit tough to get on. But a shoehorn does the trick nicely. Overall these boots fit great and look cute too!

Perfect comfort and function

Have worn these a few times lately in the middle of Kansas snow season and I absolutely love them. They are super comfortable and keep my feet nice and warm. I do wear additional insoles in them since I have bad feet, but they are still very comfortable to walk in. I bought them for a trip to Scotland later this year because of the waterproof qualities which I haven't tested much yet. They have kept dry through the snow though. They run a bit small so definitely size up. I usually wear a size 9-9 1/2 and I bought a size 10 and they fit nice and snug to my feet but not too tight.
