We are in NJ, and finding dry, black beans has been like the search of the century. Normally, we make once a week, using with rice, or in empanadas- super quick and easy to soak in your instant pot. It was joy to receive these fresh, good quality beans. We had a batch cooked in less than a day of receiving them. They were clean, tasty, and we will order again. the black beans are delicious and I am buying my second 5 pound bag

I bought these as I’ve been having a hard time finding dried beans at my local grocery stores. I did not expect these beans to be any different than the organic beans I usually purchase at the grocery store, but they are! They cooked better and taste better than any other I’ve tried. I'll definitely be purchasing again and ordered lentils, as well.

Bag came in half opened box with holes poked into bag. Had this happen once before, can't think it's Mulberry farms. The spacing of the holes is too regular to be human, likely machinery. That said, I will order again as beans have been great for several years, I don't order anywhere else. @Mulberry farms, should I throw away or keep?

I cook dry beans every weekend and am used to there always being grit in the bottom of the first rinse water. Nothing with these beans, not even a single grain of sand. Compared to the store bought brand name pinto beans rinsing in another pot, there were actual small chunks of dark soil mixed in. Ugh.

Delicious black beans that arrived in great shape. I appreciate that they are organic, They cook up and freeze beautifully. These are a special treat especially during the pandemic. On my second order and will be back for more.

These readily sprouted when I left them long enough to do so. They are fresh. A bit expensive compared to another source I have for organic black beans but that is okay because this is a product from a small farm and it is important to support small farms over factory farms.
