This cup leaks as if my toddler had just thrown a cup with no lid on the ground. I do understand the concept this cup is trying to convey but when it says just like open cup drinking but without the mess I was thinking more along the lines of maybe very little being able to leak from the cup. I have several cups that are a product similar to this and they do not expel so much liquid. Other than that the cup is great for toddler practice!
