Bought a used laptop. The cord that came with it was defective. Ordered this one and had the laptop up and going again in no time.

works, but gets rather warm
This works well with my HP Probook 440 G1, with the correct plug. The notebook seems to like it just fine during a charge cycle. My only concern is that it gets warmer in operation than my other power supply gets. In my experience that does not bode well for the longevity of a piece of electronics. This is intended to be a spare supply, though, so I'm willing to put up with that.
