Worn in bushy garde to deter ticks.

They work! Kept the mosquitoes away. Impressive quality, comfort and effectiveness. May need to size up for a little more comfort - we got L and XL just in case. Both work, but XL seemed a little more comfortable for size 12 men and size 9.5W women. We're usually mosquito magnets and these socks along with the Sawyer Picaridin insect repellant cream, kept the mosquitoes away.

Worthwhile for peace of mind
The socks seem well made. A little tight, but soft & stretchy, and they extend pretty high up the leg. A reasonable price for long-term protection against ticks.

These are taller and cover my legs better than the last ones I bought. They definitely help keep the ticks off! Will buy more.
