Had this bad boy for my trailer when I didn't want to pay for gas for my trailer. Yes, it's a single burner, but I was perfectly fine with it. Cooked up many o' eggs on this thing.

So far so good. It heats up pretty fast and boils water. I unplug it after each use.

This hot plate gets super hot, it can get a pot of water boiling for pasta pretty quick however don’t expect the template to come down quickly. I burned quite a few menu items before I figured out to remove the pan of whatever I’m sauteeing from the heat source completely

Once I received this I immediately turned it on for the initial 15 minute burn. Was looking to see red burner but didnt. Was looking for some indication that it was heating up, saw none. Was going to return it but something said see how it cooks. Wonder of wonders I cooked a few dishes and was so very surprised. This works amazingly and surprisingly fantastic. I have a full stove however I only use one burner so I intend to reconfigure and create a cover for the current stove which will provide additional counter space....I was going to create a drop in spot but I can put the burner away when not in use which extends my counter space...excellent performance and my idea for more space is complete.

I bought this in 2022. Yes, 3 years ago. It was a just in case item. Never used until 2 weeks ago. I've been using every day this past week. Worked fine. Today I went to use and it will not turn on. I imagine because of the time I won't be able to request help with an exchange for another but jeez. Not cool. You should be able to buy things for the just in case moments in life if product stands up to it's claims.
