NOT DURABLE and I cannot return as per Amazon.
After only 4 months, the pump burned out. NOT DURABLE and I cannot return. Electrical was hooked up correctly, 230V, and all was in order. Not worth going on the cheap.

Good value pump
After 1 month I'm fairly happy with this pump, deducting 1 star because it can't produce more than ~36 PSI, datasheet said somewhere around 45 psi, so I had a heck of a time finding a pressure switch that would work. Currently on a 20/40 psi switch with the 40 adjusted as low as I could go. I believe I'm just on the border of the cutout, might get in some trouble someday if pump starts wearing out. I would recommend adding a start relay to one of these. But I'm seeing 30 psi on somewhere around 12 spray heads, with a 1.25" suction and 1" pressure line, which is pretty good in my book.

Surface well pump.
I used the pump in my surface well! It works great and will run 10 sprinkles at once. I’m very happy with the performance. Great pump.

All these are a bit pricey. Rated less that my last pump (different brand) But just as powerful. I like it as it draws less current.

Junk out of the box
The pump has never worked. I wasn’t able to install it right away because I was waiting on some piping to arrive that was on back order. So I couldn’t return the pump for a refund by the time I was able to install it. Their technicians deemed it irreparable and it was a warranty issue. I’ve been waiting for three weeks now for them to process my warranty because they have so many more requests than usual. That should tell you all you need to know about these pumps.

Tom McGregor speaking. You must first read the instructions carefully and follow the installations in order. If the pump doesn’t start check your motor terminal connection points. That all water piping connections to the pump are water tight. Follow exactly the pump priming procedures. If the motor doesn’t preform contact red lion service Center. Helpful. I’m
