Fast, Reliable, and a Great Value when discounted
I couldn't be happier with this Acer Predator 4TB SSD. I've had zero issues with it since installing it, and the performance is exactly what you'd expect from a top-tier solid-state drive. It handles everything I throw at it with incredible speed, from large file transfers to demanding games and applications. One of the best features is the included heatsink. It's a huge plus and does a great job of keeping the drive cool under heavy load. However, a quick tip for anyone installing this: check your motherboard first! Some high-end motherboards already have an M.2 heatsink. I had a moment where I almost double-stacked them. Make sure you only use one to avoid any potential issues with thermal transfer and fit. Overall, this SSD is a fantastic buy. It's fast, reliable, and the included heatsink is a massive bonus. Highly recommend it

High speed, great value
Great value, worked seamlessly on my gigabyte B760m mini atx motherboard. I have used the predator stick on heat pad and have noticed that it’s the same temp than without it! Also the same ish temps as my CPU M.2 which has a dedicated heat sink, just goes to show how much supposed heatsinks actually do even after 6+ hours of running AAA games on PC!

A high-performance Gen4 SSD with excellent endurance and value
Key Features Performance: Sequential speeds: Up to 7,400 MB/s read | 6,700 MB/s write (matches top-tier Gen4 drives like WD Black SN850X) 24. Random IOPS: 1,350K read | 1,150K write (strong for gaming/workloads) 7. 4TB advantage: Larger capacities often outperform 2TB models in sustained writes 3. Hardware: Controller: InnoGrit IG5236 (12nm, 8-channel) – competitive with Phison E18 410. NAND: Micron 176L TLC (B47R) – upgraded from older 96L versions 24. DRAM: 4GB DDR4 cache (2GB per side) for better multitasking 3. Endurance & Warranty: 3,000 TBW (750 TBW per TB) + 5-year warranty 29. Pros ✅ Price-to-performance: ~$450 for 4TB (often cheaper than rivals like SK hynix P41) 4. ✅ Gaming-ready: Top-tier in 3DMark/PCMark 10 benchmarks 49. ✅ Efficient: Low power consumption vs. competitors (e.g., 1.45W idle) 7. Cons ⚠️ Cooling issues: "Graphene foam pad" is ineffective; throttles at 85°C+ under heavy loads 110. Requires aftermarket heatsink for sustained workloads 110. ⚠️ Firmware quirks: Post-cache writes drop to ~1.3GB/s (slower than SN850X/P41) 13. Verdict A great value for gamers/content creators needing high-capacity Gen4 speeds, but invest in cooling. For raw performance, consider WD Black SN850X or SK hynix P41 at similar prices

Great capacity for games
I bought the Acer Predator 7000 4tb SSD so it was decent value comparing to alternatives at the time. The SSD comes with a small screw for the motherboard. Installation is easy, though for a person uncomfortable with upgrading a PC may wish to seek assistance, it comes with a small padded graphene-laced pad that needs to be manually stuck to the SSD which should help with heat dissipation. The drive may not show up on Windows straight away, but this is easily fixed via Windows Disk Management to format to NTFS. Loading games feel snappy and there is plenty of space for modern games which are large in size these days. If you wish you can download the Acronis True Image that is available from the predator website for free to manage PC backups. The 4TB model is the best version of the SSD considering the 4GB DRAM and a very slight edge on random read/write speeds The SSD has a 5 year advertised manufacturer warranty which is a bonus and provides peace of mind should the drive fail in the future.

More storage, high speed and no problems
I purchased this is for my Acer Predator Helios 300 as my game library grows. In my opinion (and if you have the slots on your motherboard) always spend the extra for M.2 NVME for the speed. This one replaced my M.2 which had the OS but was only 250GB, i took it to a local computer shop and had them do the transfer of the OS which was no problem and I've had no issues.
