What is the maximum charge rate for these batteries?

3.3A or 1C. I have 6 of these for 2 airplanes and charge them at 2A , they last a long time that way. I had one that I charged at 3.3 routinely (nearly daily in the summer) and found it got out of balance about half way though and I would have to discharge it and then slow balance charge it to even it up again. The 2A charged cells are perfectly balanced after two years of use.

Ordered two different times. received two different batteries. first ones had thinner cells and weighed 287g. second order weighed 352g. why?

Different chemicals, both have same output have used both for a year. I use the heaver batteries for C.G. On some planes

The device I want to connect this to has 1 blue wire & 1 yellow wire; what gets attached to the red wire & what gets attached to the black wire?

Not sure exactly what wires are what on the device your trying to connect this battery too. But the red wire is the positive wire and the black wire is the negative wire on the battery itself.
