The 54 pc pencil set was an excellent purchase for the money. The sketch pencils are good quality. The colored pencils are nice and bright depending on how heavy of a hand you use. The metallic pencils are a nice addition - unfortunately, I didn't have any dark paper on hand to test them out on and in the photo, they barely look metallic...if you want a metallic look use them on DARK PAPER not white. Why? Because metallic pencils are made to be used on dark toned paper. The water color pencils work wonderfully...true I did only use test swatches, but I have no doubt that they would be excellent used for a regular drawing!This set would make the perfect gift for beginners and or seasoned artists.

I bought this as a gift for my cousin who is in his early 30’s. He likes to draw in his spare time and sometimes sells his drawings to tattoo shops and what not. He absolutely loved the gift and said he couldn’t wait to use it. I was unable to see it in person but I was happy he was excited about it.

I recently just got into drawing, and wanted the best quality set of colored pencils to start out with. And so far, I'm impressed. There are a wide variety of pencils in this set. The eraser definitely comes in handy. And it even comes with a pretty good small pencil sharpener. Overall, if you're involved with drawing and art...I'd say this set is well worth it.

Maybe I just got a faulty batch, but the colored pencils are extremely brittle. I cant sharpen them without them breaking. The colors are also really light. It takes a lot to get pigment on the page.

Very nice art set for non artists like myself. Now if I can just find the time to enjoy using them that would be perfect!Good value.

The box the items come in is cheap. The pencils are nice, and are working out well for the granddaughter they were a gift for.

For my young grandson who is an outstanding artist. Makes him feel like a professional. Great variety for a young artist looking to try different pencil mediums.
