Never use anything but this on your wood
I think Lemon Oil is much more restorative to the wood. I’ve used Orange Glo and, although I love the lingering orange scent, the wood didn’t respond as well as it did to the Lemon oil! I have an antique China Cabinet that had shelf covering on shelves for years and may have never been treated. The Lemon Oil brought out such a wonderful warm natural grain color. I did use a lot on the 4 long shelves and interior of cabinet, but considering the age is between 150-200 years old with mostly untreated wood, I really wasn’t surprised. The greasiness of the oil disappeared over about 1 hour after absorbing. Great quality and effective. My mother was told by an antique curator to use Lemon Oil and never wax, so we have been using Old English Lemon Oil (only using Orange Glo when i couldn’t find this in the store) for about 70 years!

Excellent for conditioning vintage hardwood (Not veneer particle board)
Great stuff and very easy to apply. I just recently came into the possession of a hardwood table and chair set so I kissed them with a little bit of this to condition the wood to a really nice result. As an amateur guitar technician, I feel obliged to mention, if you're eyeing this for your guitar, just buy a bottle of Dunlop, MusicNomad, or other specialized brand as that way you can guarantee you're getting pure mineral oil with fretboared-safe additives. This is great for any other wood, but for a guitar it's just not worth the risk of damaging your fretboard over time (especially if it's an expensive wood like rosewood!). This will do in a pinch, but better safe than sorry, hey? And, do not use any kind of oil on a maple fretboard as it's almost always finished, and that way, madness lays. :)

Works like magic!
This product brings my wooden furniture back to life. I’ve used it on several older items and they bounce back like they are new again. I am convinced that this product is tremendous. I’ve been using it for over ten years and will continue to do so for many more!

Better than the aerosol sprays, and at a much lower cost
I will admit that I got seduced away from good old-fashion furniture polish in a bottle by the convenience of aerosol sprays, but I have finally seen the light and come back. This furniture polish does a better job than anything you can simply spray and wipe - and at a fraction of the cost. This one bottle will last me for years, even with lavish use. The few seconds I saved by using the sprays is just not worth it. Old English gives a warm, deep shine, a sweet lemony smell and a glow that only comes from a real furniture polish. And as an added bonus, a quick buff in between polishings will quickly shine up my furniture - the aerosol sprays never did that for me - so maybe they really didn't save me as much time and effort as I thought they did... I also have the satisfaction of knowing I am not spritzing all sorts of unknown propellants into the air in my home (and the environment in general), so I have to say this is a win any way you look at it.

Works Wonders!
This has been one of the best wood treatment options for my oak cabinets, having this product has changed how my kitchen looks and brings so much life back into my older cabinets. The treatment is once a week and a little goes a long way when using this product. Leaves little to no residue and has a great smell to it as well!

A very good product but hard to find at any local stores. Amazon is so easy! They send it quickly. Ensure the bottles are capped to avoid spillage, and subscription ensures continued availability.

I have used this Old English Lemon Oil in my home for my good wood furniture for years. There is nothing better for the wood, and it leaves it shiny and clean every time. I put it out for the cleaning lady who comes every couple of weeks, and she also swears by it. It is expensive, but it's worth it, and besides, the bottle lasts for years if you only use it every couple of weeks. This is a great product with a well-deserved reputation for excellence.
