OSD Audio AP525 5.25-Inch 100W High Performance Composite Resin Low Resonator Cabinet 2-Way Indoor/Outdoor Weather-Resistant Patio Speakers - - (Pair, White)

I read and researched for a good while before purchasing speakers! I have a Bose system in my bedroom and a Sonos system in our living room. They are both great and the sound on both is superb. Clean, clear, crisp sound. I bought 2 sets of the OSD speakers for our patio and I can say I get the same clean, crisp sound as the higher end Bose and Sonos speakers. Paired with a solid amp and they sound awesome. I definitely recommend the speakers and will be purchasing a OSD subwoofer to complement these speakers, but it does sound great without a sub. Installation is simple and straight forward. Brackets are good with many different adjustment angles to position the speakers to achieve the optimum sound for your area. Overall extremely satisfied with these speakers.

Pros: Very solidly built (feels like cast metal cabinet), nice looking, mounting brackets were easy to work with. Cons: Inefficient, weak bass, mids and treble become distorted at higher volumes. Keeping them clean outdoors could be an issue as the cabinet exterior surface is textured like coarse sand paper. They were acceptable for the voice / paging PA application I used them in, but I would not recommend them for any music listening. Way better sound can be had for the same money (though you will likely have to spend more to find good sound in a package as durable as these).

Great clarity at even high volumes. These are good quality speakers that have good performance. The volume output is EXTREMELY sensitive! You don’t need to put the volume up too high to have the sound come out at all. You don’t need a lot of power. My amp is far more than enough. I have some other more pro-grade speakers that I can’t get as loud as these at low volume. Great cost for the quality! These don’t ever sound “tinny”, either. Remember 80Hz is Dolby quality for crossover to lower frequencies if you use a subwoofer.

These speakers are perfect for my poolside setup. The sound quality is clear and loud enough to fill the space without distortion, even outdoors. They’ve held up great so far and seem built to handle summer weather without issue. I can vibe to Party in the USA all day long—even if it mildly annoys the neighbors. Great purchase for anyone looking to bring the fun outside!

Easy installation and excellent sound quality. I connected these to a high power early 90s Kenwood receiver and I am impressed with how much they can handle and still sound clear. Our outdoor parties will be so much better. I will likely buy another pair for our other patio area.
