Otterbox Defender Series Case for Pixel 6 - Fort Blue

Color is great! Love the way it feels! Honestly, I'll always be a customer of OtterBox because of how reliable they've been for my phones when I've had accidental drops.I purchased this one specifically because my last one was bulky and I wanted one that allowed me to wirelessly charge. The other one I couldn't. This meets that need. It's been several months now since I've had the case & I can honestly say it's now my favorite one. So when I next upgrade my phone, this is what I'll be looking for.

My old phone has an Otterbox case & that case is excellent! Just to be fair I did look at other cases for my new phone, but none were convincing enough to give me reason to stray from the Otterbox.I like the dual layer of protection. My old phone case has the soft layer on the inside, hard layer on the outside. This one is the opposite, hard on inside, soft on outside, which makes it even easier to grip.& I did not want a case that had a kickstand built into the case, having the kickstand on a separate protective cover better suits me.Of course, this case is pricier than the others I looked at, but worth it. Caught it on sale at Amazon :O)

Despite the color not being quite as pictured, I have no complaints because it's not black or clear glitter, which seem to be the only options for Pixel 6 from OtterBox. This case makes the phone itself pretty bulky, but as it's used in a construction worker setting, the bulk is expected. All the protection is needed. I really appreciate the charging port protection flap. It does still work with my wireless charging in my vehicle. We've used OtterBox for over 10 years at this point and we've never managed to break a phone.

The Otterbox works great with the Google Pixel 6. My favorite aspect is that it gets ride of that stupid rounded edge design. I used to drop this phone all of the time because it's difficult to grip the rounded edges.Another feature is the way it allows the usb-c port to be covered. I ride with mine on a motorcycle mount. If water gets in the usb-c port when it rains, the phone shuts down to protect itself from water damage. That's bad when you're depending on it for GPS directions. Otterbox solves that.Great product!

I literally can't deal with any case that isn't an Otterbox. Just skip all the cheap imitations and get the real thing. For those that say it should have a screen protector built in, I say meh. Older Defender cases used to do this but not any more. It wasn't a good idea back then and isn't a good idea now. Those same people complaining it doesn't have the screen protector would be the first ones to rip Otterbox the second they scratched the built in screen protectors saying, "now I need to buy a new case just becasue the screen protector is damaged".This thing is perfect. Don't mess with perfection.

Expected a longer lasting case from OtterBox. I miss the commuter series.

Although I don't have a use for the belt clip, I like this case. I've previously used the Commuter, but what I like about this one is how the case doesn't slip out of your hands, at all. That's important with a larger phone. I also appreciate how there is a frame around the phone inside the exterior case to help absorb drops. It is almost a half an inch thick so it isn't a sleek case. It feels very sturdy so it should last as long as I own my phone. All my other Otterbox cases have.
