Works Great
I was a little weary with some of the reviews mentioning build quality and some QC issues.I have been very pleasantly surprised. Aside from 2 thumb screws (whose purpose is unclear) everything was nice and tight, desk mount attached without any issue. Plug and play, worked flawlessly in the newest WRC game, and Richard Burns' Rally was a little finicky, not with detection, but it was detecting my logitech pedals as combined, but only when the handbrake was actually bound. It took about 5 minutes to get it sorted. The only thing that was a little puzzling was that neither of the supplied wrenches are of the correct size for the lever height adjustment nuts. Was able to adjust it with a small adjustable wrench, but just an odd choice to not include a tool for that, while seemingly every other one is covered. I plan to get some gentle loctite for the thumb screws, they work themselves loose fairly often. Lastly the foam on the handle feels pretty cheap. I would not be surprised if it wears out fairly quickly.tl;dr a couple of small annoyances to overcome, but otherwise fantastic for the price.

Service worth 5 starts
Pulling this handbrake out of the box, I was very pleased from the start. The quality of it is really good, it's got a great feel to it. The actual handle has a piece of foam wrapped around it, for more money I'd expect something a little better, but the solution they use is comfortable and great for the price. When I first plugged it in - there was an issue where the handbrake was delayed about 1 second. Tested in Dirt Rally 2.0 and iRacing, then verified in DiView calibration software. I logged into my Amazon to message the seller, but I already had a message waiting for me!The seller reached out preemptively to let me know that a few handbrakes went out with the wrong chip, mine included. After supplying my address, I had a replacement part at my door within 1-2 days - outstanding! One allen key and a supplied zip-tie later and I was back in business. It now works without delay. There is a small amount of noise in the movement but I don't hear it when I play so it doesn't bother me one bit.For the price, this is amazing. For the amount I use the handbrake, I did not want to spend money on a fancy brand, and I'm very, very happy I got this for my rig. Would recommend to anyone who needs to upgrade their sim.

Surprisingly good
Made from some thick iron, looks and feels sturdy. You can move the handle to point out instead of pointing up if you are handy with tools. Very simple design. Has an annoying light inside of it that can only be toggled by plugging it and unplugging.Comes with a way to clamp it on the side of a desk. there are also mounting holes all over it if you need a custom setup

Works perfectly, I just don't agree with the design
I purchased this handbrake 1 month ago and have been using it heavily since. It was practically plug and play, assembly out of the box was simple, and after tightening and loosening a few screws here and there, and tuning the handbrake in all of my games, I had it up and running. It feels great to use but there are a few flaws/cons that I wish I knew about before purchasing:1. The design is literally a spring loaded screw scraping against the side of the handbrake, so the nice powder coat of paint gets scraped off down to bare metal which creates a grinding feeling when using for the first hour2. Vibrations from use can easily cause screws to back out, so I had to use some loctite to secure them3. Arrived with a strange large metal plate, probably for mounting to a rig, that came without instructions4. The padding on the handle feels great, but it's foam without any vinyl cover so I feel that it will deteriorate over timeOther than the issues listed above, I've been enjoying this product a lot. Here are some highlights about the product:1. It feels very smooth after breaking it in2. The design and hardware allows for lots of ergonomic customization3. Comes with sturdy a desk clamp with hardware and tools to assemble4. Has a cool white LED underneath it which adds ambience to my setupOverall I would recommend this product to someone on a tight budget, but I would look for a handbrake with some kind of piston to generate air/hydraulic pressure so you don't have to deal with the paint scraping off. I have read many reviews about good customer support, but I haven't had to contact customer support yet about anything.

Not perfect but dang am I happy with this thing
You plug this thing in and it's called Arduino Leonardo or something like that. That means that this is made by someone who just wants to build stuff. That's exactly what you're getting and I think it's fantastic. The only instructions it comes with is to prove that it really is working. This is because it isn't compatible with all games. For me, it works in Dirt Rally 2 and Project Cars 2. It does not work in Wreckfest. Luckily some other Amazon customers left videos showing how they mounted theirs because I couldn't figure it out.I saw some old reviews that the USB was getting knocked loose; well it's glued and zip tied on now. I have to admit that one of the bolt came off and I had to go out to get metric hex keys to put it back on. It's holding tight now. There's also a weird latch that jingles around as you use it. I have no idea what it's for and I'll probably never know.I have to say that I'm really happy with this purchase. Totally worth the price.
