I use these frames as I am a painter and use them for my pictures. The frames are sturdy and have plexiglass but look like glass once you peel off the protector. For the price the 5 frames are an excellent buy for the price. Ive ordered these a couple of times and have never had any issues.

Nice lightweight frame - great clarity - You would think it was glass (not plexiglass) by looking at it!

What I liked: - Overall look of frames and packaging is great - Putting your own picture in the frames is pretty simple, in my case I already had mats cut so it was very easy to get them setup - mounting supports both a portrait and landscape orientation (as pictured) - overall "look" on the wall is pretty good - mounting isn't especially difficult, just requires a little measuring. This is much better than the dreaded regular sawtooth or d / triangle ring hangers and using screws or nails, which makes it difficult to hang them. - overall weight is good, the frames are reasonably light. Although this may "seem" like a bad thing, it's actually not, as someone who experienced a command picture hanger failure with a wood framed-glass picture. - holes left behind are typically 4 tiny nail holes. This would be super easy to cover up with a small swipe of spackle and a tiny amount of paint, much smaller holes than you'd get with a screw. - this is actually the second package of these i've bought (different size before) and they have always been consistent, so I'm a fan. What could be better: - Durability of hooks isn't great when you are hammering them in, so be really careful and if you have a small framing hammer, even better. Pictured is one hanger where a single "wack" with a hammer caused the end to break off, lesson learned. The 5-pack comes with one extra but deducting 1 star, was i'd hope the hook would be a little more durable honestly. Misc remarks: - taking the mounting piece back out from the wall isn't difficult, just be careful so you don't damage the wall around it. As pointed out above, one that was hammered into the wall had to be removed because I broke the hook piece off accidentally when hammering, smh.

I bought these picture frames expecting something simple yet presentable, due the price I knew I couldn’t expect a lot. They do serve their purpose, but the quality leaves a bit to be desired. The frame itself is made entirely of plastic, and it looks and feels that way — giving off a rather inexpensive appearance. Instead of real glass, they come with a thin plastic cover that reflects light quite a bit, which makes it hard to see the photo clearly from certain angles. On the positive side, they’re lightweight, easy to hang, and arrived well-packaged with no damage. They work fine for casual or temporary displays, but if you’re looking for something with a more polished or durable finish, I’d suggest spending a little more on higher-quality frames.

Completely happy with this purchase. You get exactly what you pay for, read the description carefully. The frame and everything else are made of plastic. This means they are lightweight and won't break if they fall. It also means they won't protect your art from UV damage like glass would, and I'd rather not more plastic in the environment but I'm on a fixed budget. So, there are pros and cons. The matte provided isn't a real art matte, it's just a piece of paper with a hole cut out. Nevertheless, it provides a simulation of the real thing. See my attached photo, with a flower I did in Derwent Inktense pencils for an idea. They were well packaged, and arrived intact. The back opens up easily, and they provide hangers. I have not used the hangers provided yet, so I can't provide feedback on them, but I hope they will work on drywall. I'm poor and I wanted to frame a piece of art I did as an inspiration to do more art. These fit the bill perfectly. Update: I have now used the included plastic hangers. They work GREAT on drywall. I feel the need to address a few things I see in other reviews. The "sticky" sticker - there's a thin film of plastic on BOTH sides of the acrylic to protect it from scratches. If you remove this, like the instructions tell you 10x, the sticker comes off. With no residue. Lol. Now in her defense? The film is very thin, and I had trouble seeing it at first too. Go to a corner and drag a finger over it until it pulls off the plastic. Suddenly, the plastic is *much* clearer and brighter! Lol. Magic. The back feels too loose or too tight? Those clips are *adjustable*. They slide back and forth. Slide them back to remove the backing, and slide them forward after you put the clips in place. Maybe I'll upload a video. I ordered more of these frames, because they look so good on the wall, and they're the best value I could find.
