Sugar River Meat Snack Links Sticks Ends & Pieces, 2lbs (Hot Snack Stick, NOT vacuum sealed)

I brought a 2pound bag of beef sticks with me on a road trip and I ate the whole bag in just a few hours. I've never been so sick and uncomfortable. They are delicious but I have zero self control. Can you imagine how you feel with two pounds of beef sticks inside your body? Its almost unbearable. These are delicious snacks. Just don't eat the whole bag on a road trip with coworkers riding along because it wont allow you any dignity and will require the wi does be rolled down. I recommend these greasy little pieces of misery.

So this is good. It is not the same as the vacuum sealed ends & pieces & I did think I was ordering the same thing as last time- I didn’t read. The flavor is good, the texture is less chewy than the ends and pieces. It’s not overwhelming heat, more of a slow heat, but I would not recommend this for kids. The ends & pieces work better for field trip lunches or road trips with the kids.

Since this is not available for return or refund I am posting this concern. Opened the product and found the beef stick pieces and ends were very mushy. Squeezed with 2 fingers like a mushy French fry. Grossed me out, I couldn't eat them. Wasn't just a couple it was the whole package. I have ordered these before and they were very good, like a normal beef stick, snappy and chewy.

This review is for the "Ends and Pieces" product. I've purchased 1000's of items on Amazon over the years and this is this first regret I've ever had. Sure, there have been disappointments and "not live up to expectation" products, but this is the first time I actually feel misled and regretful. The product is advertised as "Ends and Pieces" so my assumption was exactly that. Ends and mis-cuts from the commercial product. And I was okay with that. Unfortunately the product should be called "Knots and Skins" because that's a more apt description. 3/4 of the bag (being generous) was the "skin" product (the tube) with no "meat" to be seen along with .5 centimeter "ends" that are essentially just the knot. Mixed in for good measure are some 1-1.5 in pieces that are actually decent. But those pieces are few and far between. Greasy. Let me be clear, I've eaten many dries meat products, including some from questionable sources on the back roads of the US! Questionable meat types. Questionable dispose of dates. Everything. And I'm fairly generous with what I'll deem acceptable! I've never had a product as greasy as this. Never. Each handful (after picking though to find edible bits) I then had to place in layers of paper towels until the grease was sopped up. I'm not exaggerating. Literally dripping with rendered fat. Apparently the curing process makes all the fat and grease go to the ends. If I had to guess, the manufacturer lets employees pick through the actual "Ends and Pieces" and what is being sold is what gets past them. I wish I could give a honest opinion on the flavor, but I'm simply so put off by the product in general, I really can't. I guess if it was less greasy, actually edible it might ... MIGHT ... be okay. And because its food, no Refunds. Silly me for purchasing 3 bags. Wasted purchase on inedible floor scraps. I beg you. Don't repeat my mistake. This product should not be sold. You have been warned.

These are tasty but they are somewhere between a smoked pepperoni and a slim Jim. So I wouldn’t say it’s for everyone. ALSO DO JOT EAT TOO MANY…. My toilet may never be the same… 🚽🪦

I love this brand. I have been buying them for years now because they taste great and can be used in all kinds of different ways or even just eaten by themselves as a low effort snack. This flavor in particular is quite spicy (much more than I was expecting) which is fine by me because I like spicy things, but it could definitely be a turn off for people who don't. -My only complaint (more of a warning) Is that these are usually very greasy and if eaten by themselves in large quantities you will regret it.

Buy this if you like a little heat. I'm a chilihead, but it's nice to have just enough heat sometimes. If you are a person who likes small "h" heat, like you find Tabasco hot, this

The item looks like what is shown, but the taste is not what i expected. The texture does not have the snap like what you would normally get, but has more of a soft mealy texture. The flavor is bland besides the extreme smoke flavor and the spice. The heat level is good, maybe even high for the average person. I had to put them into the refrigerator to try to stiffen them up so they didnt feel nasty to eat. Will not buy these again.
