Pump worked perfect for winterizing our 5th wheel camper. Sucks down a gallon of antifreeze in a few seconds.

This pump was actually kind of amazing. I bought this little pump as a throw away to use to pump thick used oil out of screw machine reservoirs. This thing pumped thick oil and steel shavings, that was not expected. I’m not saying it was working the same after weeks of pumping out these machines, but it did just keep going til the job was done. Maybe it’s because I didn’t expect much, but I was impressed. I imagine it’ll work great for what it was intended to do given it did such a good job working outside the scope of its design.

Well packaged. The inclusion of spare parts was much appreciated. Worked just fine. The only complaint I have is that it came with only 3 of the 4 required rubber foot pads on it. I searched the box and packaging well for the 4th one, but no luck. Without it, the pump does not sit level and makes an awful racket when turned on. Can send me another rubber pad?

This unit worked amazing the first 2 times I used it to pump water into my RV. I made sure to NEVER run it dry, I read all the instructions before hand and it was amazing. Quick pumping, very effective. The 3rd time I used it was yesterday, hooked everything up exactly the way I did it before with the hoses, everything is in water, turn it on, nothing, just ran for 15 seconds. I turned it off, waited 5 minutes, unhooked all the hoses, double checked it was going the right direction and none of the lines were bent, hooked it up again and ran it, just noise, nothing. It's been 3 months and I've got a paperweight and this company does not offer a standard 1 year warranty.

First off they say it is self priming. Kind of, but they want you to pour water in the outlet first to lube the impeller. You have 15 seconds to get water flow or you will burn up the impeller. That worked. I guess each time you use it you could squirt a bunch of petroleum jelly in the inlet to get it started. It actually pumps too well. If you are working with a shallow pool it will pump the water surrounding the suction head down so low it starts sucking air. Now you just have foam coming out and you are worrying about the impeller wearing out. I think I will grind the head legs down so it sits lower. I guess in a deep pool it would work OK but slow. In a shallow pool it doesn't work well. It needs constant supervision. If I had some little water feature pump mabe the head could be useful. Plus the hose is so stiff it is going to pull the head of the floor. I had to put a brick on it. This really needs a smaller hose and pump. It is hardly worth $55.

Pump is fast, acc are a problem, green hose is like a snake on viagra won't stay where you put it, black base does not have any threaded inserts to put hose on, used a piece of rubber garden hose, and glued a threaded fitting on base.

This thing pumps! Love that it is 110v, no more messing around with 12v or batteries to power it. Perfect for small jobs. I use it to winterize our trailer. It has garden hose fittings which makes it perfect for many things. It's a little loud but doesn't take long to accomplish the job. Great pump!
