However, despite the fact that she may appear to be just another LeAnn Rimes, I warn you here and now not to be deceived by appearances. Meredith Edwards may look more like the next Britney Spears than a young Tanya Tucker, but she also has one of the most mature voices in country/pop music, and a great debut album to boot.REACH is an excellent reflection of Meredith's talent. The album contains a variety of songs, from traditional country to pop to the modern country music sound made popular by artists such as the Dixie Chicks. This variety of music shows the versatility of Meredith's voice, showcasing her ability to sing fun songs with little substance or lyrical content ("The Bird Song") to songs that allow her to show off her talent and captivate the listener with her beautiful voice ("Reach").
