NEW ICHIKAMI SMOOTH AND SLEEK SHAMPOO (480mL) AND CONDITIONER (480g) SET!

This is the second version of Ichikami shampoo & conditioner that I've tried and I absolutely adore it! It makes my hair so soft and shiny, cleanses without stripping and moisturizes without weighing my locks down. My locks look extra flowy and luscious. The fragrance will knock your socks off, it's super fresh and feminine. Like, you'll be smelling your hair all day and if anyone has the privilege of hugging you, they'll be captivated by the scent. It's that good, and it lasts for so long. The bottles are quite large, and despite being a Japanese brand, the set is very affordably priced, ~$10/bottle. I'll definitely be repurchasing!!!

my hair type: 2a low porosity hair, not dyed, fine texture but tends to frizz I've been using this shampoo and conditioner combo for months now and I LOVE it. They're both officially going on my holy grail list!!!! The smooth and sleek shampoo & conditioner + jojoba oil before every shower have turned my hair from a frizzy pouf to well behaved, lightly wavy, and above all NOT FRIZZY hair that has even started getting me compliments. Dude I NEVER got compliments on my hair and now I do!!! And it feels soft now! I can't stop touching my hair and I think I jumped up and down the first time I saw the top layer of my hair (major frizz culprit) finally lay flat. THE SHAMPOO: Seriously, my roots have never been shinier. I found it's best for me to wash my hair every other day. Longer than that and my hair gets greasy again. (vs the oaui detox cleanser where I can go two days in between shampooing) THE CONDITIONER: I think this does the most for taming frizz. I use it with the tsubaki gold hair mask every shower, but honestly think this conditioner does more for me than the mask. SMOOTH AND SLEEK LINE: The peach scent is fresh but light. The bottles are huge and you only need one pump of each. This is seriously such a good deal and definitely worth a try if you have frizzy hair!!

EDIT: I recently brought the sister shampoo and conditioner set to this, which is the airy and silky set. I was curious if it would be any different to this shampoo set because I had already finished the whole bottle of sleek and smooth. And it turns out that it is a little bit different. This shampoo compared to the new one still leaves a better feeling to the hair and lives up to its name "sleek and smooth" but I did find out something else. I translated the ingredients on the back of the bottle and it has dimithecone in it. I hope it is not a lot, but if any buyers are wary of that ingredient just know that this shampoo set has it. Now as for testing how long the scent of flowers stays in my hair, after prolonged use, I could no longer smell the flowers. It may be because I got used to the smell so much that I couldn't smell it anymore whenever I shampoo. Or the fragrance is gone and out in the shampoo and conditioner? because after my hair is done drying, there is only a faint scent of the flowers if I smell my hair up close and it disappears. Another thing I wanted to test is if it'll help my hair from thinning and falling out and this somewhat did help with it. I didn't see my hair fall or break as much in the shower with this shampoo, probably because of the rice bran ingredient in it which makes hair stronger. As for using this shampoo for the first time, I advise you to lather up the shampoo in your hands and add more water if it's not lathering. I made the mistake of adding more shampoo when it did not lather and my advice for anyone who wants to use this, is to shampoo your head twice. The first time to get rid of the dirt, the second time to really clean it and set in the scent. (OLD REVIEW) I just tried this shampoo today and the other reviews weren't kidding about it smelling so good! It smells like I have flowers in my hair and it still lingers after hours! Not like any other leading US shampoo brands that claim to have scent lasting for hours, days, or a week. My hair also came out shiny and moisturized after I left it to air dry. I would usually put a hair oil on my damp hair after getting out of the shower to seal in the moisture but with this shampoo and conditioner there was no need! it left the locks of my hair moisturized really well. I need to test how much longer the scent stays in my hair and if it will help my thin hair become healthier again. But so far it's promising and it's living up to the rest of the reviews. I don't regret buying it and might buy another one as soon as my bottle runs out! You won't regret it!

Package arrived mildly deformed (cardboard insert) but honestly I really do like the shampoo, and the conditioner isn't too bad. I paired it with the tsubaki Ex hair repair mask, and my hair is quite a bit better even after two washes! It doesn't leave my hair feeling waxy at all, which is a major plus over products typically found here in the US. I like it a lot. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars for the package damage issues and how it works for my hair, also love how the scent lasts a while. Decent!

My grandson loves these. He has curly hair and says that he no longer needs all the extra products for his hair when using this shampoo and conditioner. His curls are soft and smooth. no frizz. This is one thing he will tell me about before he is out so I can reorder for more for him.

I don't even know where to start with this stuff!!! I have used all sorts of products from all sorts of price points on my hair. Professional and drugstore shampoo, conditioner, treatments, serums, oils.... Everything. This set of shampoo and conditioner and it's matching serum(the one in the pink bottle) is AMAZING. I have pretty fine straight hair but I have a lot of it(I guess you could consider it thick, but the hairs themselves are very thin). I'm not sure just how much it has to do with how well this works, I'm sure it's at least a little important- all I know is this is my new go to set. It makes my hair unbelievably soft, it smells SO good too. I can't believe some people think the scent is too strong, it's perfect!! My hair feels the best it has EVER felt!!

The shampoo didn’t work well with my scalp at all. Not sure what happened but my scalp became red, inflamed, irritated and incredibly itchy with each use. I wanted to wait it out 1 week at least but all I could take was 3 days tops. It smells wonderful but it seems it just wasn’t for me.

Arrived packaged very well. No leaks. I love the smell. I've used this brand for years.

This shampoo makes my hair very soft, smooth, and easy to manage. The scent is really nice and not overpowering, and it leaves my hair feeling clean without dryness. However, I think it works best for straight hair. On curly hair, it doesn’t define curls and can make them feel flat. If you have straight or slightly wavy hair, this shampoo is great, but it may not be the best choice for curly hair types.

Did not suit my hairs .

Unfortunately made my scalp itchy and gave me flaky dandruff flakes it turned my scalp so bad. now i need a detox shampoo because of this
