I have just received the item. Batteries not included and item is not beeping and giving me a flashing changing value reading

Please don't but this item. When I received mine I puked up youtube to watch people use it first. Thiers came with batteries and worked fine. I opened mine to am empty batter slot in the packaging....weird I thought. Got my own batteries and turned the device on. It's turned in yes but thats all it did. It lite up green and made a single beep and that it. Tried everything i could to make it work.....nothing.

I received the product on time. Went to turn it on, didn't work because it came with no batteries. After I got batteries, worked fine.
