It is perfection in a can!
Absolutely perfect! I was crossing my fingers with this, guys... I needed a thick primer to cover a pretty rough surface (rough is the design). This was the best first try ever! I don't think I'll ever use any other primer, ever. I am a customer for life! It is the perfect thickness, it will fill the little imperfections, and smooth the larger ones. My project was unique, but the fact that it worked on my extremely rough wood surface is just astonishing to me! And it is affordable!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could, and no I was not paid for this or whatever, I'm just really surprised I picked right the first time for once, lmao 😂 I definitely recommend this for any primer project, as you can thin it, if needed, making it the perfect can to have for every project!

Great primer
I’m repainting an old vinyl floor in my house and this primer worked great. It covered most of the old stencil pattern in 2 coats and seems like it will be pretty durable under the floor paint I’m using.

Excellent coverage and adherence. Makes painting trim and walls a success.
Pros: Good cost. Available in 1 Quart sizes. No overpowering smell. Adheres incredibly well to painted surfaces, wood, spackle and over painted walls. (You'll learn how well it adheres when you accidentally get a drip on the floor or your clothing!) Provides an excellent uniform color and surface for paint to adhere to. Minimal sanding required. Cons: Difficult clean-up. Really adheres to paint brush bristles and paint pails. Dries quickly, sometimes too quickly. Used to remodel a room recently. Had to prime-over existing painted trim, new MDF baseboards and patched drywall. Product works great and new paint adhered to it extremely well. 2 Coats did a great job of covering-up existing paint color of trim and gave me a uniform base color to paint over. No shadows or color bleed. Worked great on MDF as well. This is my go-to primer going forward.

Good primer, but Amazon shipping kind of sucks.
Amazon said, "Who cares about proper packaging?", because my can looked like someone punted it across a field. Aside from that, this is my first time using a primer on MDF furniture and it really does make a difference. I decided to repaint some IKEA billy bookcases to redesign my home library. For 3 full size IKEA billy bookcases, it took 2 cans. Not the cheapest project, but also not the most expensive. Skipping this step will result to the paint chipping, so this is one step I wouldn't skip. The steps I took to ensure my bookcases would last long: (1) I sanded down the bookcases with 160 grit (2) painted this primer on it, and let it dry for a day (3) painted interior house paint, and let it dry for a day (4) Painted polycrilic on the surfaces so the books wouldn't stick to the shelves. All it all, this product does what I need it too. It's more affordable on Amazon than going to a big box store.

This paint is a staple in my home!
My fiance loves this paint! I have used it many times over the years but he had never worked with it and he was impressed with the quality and coverage at such an affordable price. One can goes quite far and there is really minimal, if any, odor to it. I really love that it takes very little time to dry and this particular brand and line has been consistent across the years I've used it. No complaints!

Didn't cover
Great price but it doesn't cover. I was attempting to cover pencil and different types of paint, charcoal, and other craziness (never lease to a faux artist) and this didn't manage to cover anything. I switched to another product. It felt like this was old, maybe wasn't the same quality I would experience if I bought it from the local hardware store. I don't know why.
