Q: The adapter does not plug into the wall? i think i have wrong parts. i will have to return mine. i have never seen an adapter like this.

The deal that comes with it plugs into the same thing that your cell phone plugs into to go into the wall.

I haven’t used on regular polish. It works well with gel / Shellac polish.
