Recommend, great value.
Used a 8oz jig just over 400 feet deep, worked as advertised. Plenty of power with an awesome fast action. I fish Neah Bay Washington’s swift sure bank with this rod. Landed halibut and pacific cod. I recommend this fishing rod.

Get Hooked Up!!
I purchased this rod for slow pitching rock fish. I used a 10 oz. jig at a depth of 200' and a 16 oz jig at 600'. The rod performed well at the 200' depth. However, at 600' I felt I needed a little more backbone on the rod. This is a great rod, at a good price, for jigging at depths of 150' to 250'.

I have absolutely zero complaints! From delivery, packing, quality, performance, and feelings this rod delivers. Not going to lie, I had to ride it like a broomstick most of the way! Worth it!

Reel seat locking nut gets loose as you are jigging
Took this down on a trip to mexico, extremely excited to use the Goofish rod after watching every video possible of there product on youtube. After purchasing i was met with a couple disappointments. 1st which isnt a big deal now as it was when i placed the prder was shipping was delayed for whatever reason after being told it would arrive a week before my trip it arrived a day before my fishing trip where i would be slow pitch jigging most the time. 2nd issue is and Could be user error but doesn't happen on my other jigging rods is the reel seat nut comes loose as you are using it. Which is frustrating as you have to tighten it and as you are jigging. Which takes away from the fishing part of it, as i like to be focused on everything else but my gear failing me. Rod is extremely light and feels great when I don't have to tighten the nut every 2min or so to tight it down if it's loose or to make sure it hasn't loosen. Never over tighten the nut as it can ruin the reel seat

Good Rod
Good rod but the rod's coating is soft . first time use had scratches from fishing line.

GooFish Slow Pitch rod is Solid performer
While I have only had the rod on one fishing trip, it handled the rigors of slow pitch jigging in 220 ft of open water and landed many fish up to 18 pounds. I would recommend this rod as a winner in the "value" based cost tier.
