The "waterblock" technology really works. I have very sensitive skin- melasma that easily recurs after exposure to sunlight. I almost gave up surfing due to the sun exposure, but then I found this sunscreen. It keeps me protected during the hours I spend in the ocean, without having to go back to the beach to re-apply sunscreen. I hope they never stop selling this!

I’m a redhead, fair skinnered. I spend a lot of time outdoors — kids sports, surfing, etc. This is the only sunscreen I’ve found that will 100% keep me from burning for long periods of time without reapplication. If I’m not getting wet I can wear this all day without reapplying. If I’m getting wet it depends on how much I’m rubbing my face as to how often (if at all) I need to reapply. It’s not 100% mineral. It leaves me with a bit of a greasy sheen so I don’t use it when going out if I care about that (eg a downtown day out on the town). I’ll use this on my face/neck/hands/etc then something else if needed on other parts of the body because it goes on thick and is expensive. I love this stuff.

It protects well but is greasier than I would have liked. When I first opened the package it was greasier than when I got toward the bottom of the tube. I found you have to shake it vigorously and often to try to cut down on the greasy factor. However, despite this, it still protects from the sun very well and does not seem to clog my pores.

I believe this product might have some trace nickel in it because I broke out and am allergic to nickel. I'm not sure what else would be causing the allergic reaction. I gave it 3 stars because my bonus boys use it, and it works well with their skin. It does stay white on the skin unless rubbed in very well.

Love this sunscreen! I have tried at least 30 different sunscreens for my face as I have dark spots. It has started to fade the spots! I am definitely hooked!

This sunscreen is outstanding if you are a swimmer or a sailor. I can do an hour-long swim workout, and it still protects

I’ve been buying this before 2020, and it was the best. I used it initially for outdoor lap swimming (45 minutes per session). I broadened its use to daily, casual wear cuz I live in SoCal, and it went on my skin great. They’ve apparently since changed the formula. It’s now thicker and stickier. I notice the difference because I had some leftovers from a prior tube and could do a side-by-side empirical comparison. I suppose it’s maintained its effectiveness at blocking UV rays, BUT the new formula stings the eyes!!! Maybe it’s not sweatproof? I dunno, but this is a 100% deal breaker! I’m saddened (and annoyed) to have to start (again) researching the various products out there. I thought I had a long-term winner with this one. (I even bought several tubes without realizing that they changed formulation.) Note that I gave “thickness” one star because it is thick, even though it shouldn’t be.
