Short people rejoice with me and rest your little toes!
I bought this for my amazing trip to Australia. Worth every penny, even I had only used it for that single trip. I'm 5'1" and always so uncomfortable in airplane seats. My feet are inches off the floor, which causes low and mid back pain on all but the shortest flights. Travel is fun, if you don't get kidnapped or catch horrible illnesses, but pain is not fun. This a great product; a simple solution, well executed and it takes away my unfun airplane seat pain. The footrest fits in your laptop bag, backpack or large purse. It's easy peasy lemon squeezy to install on the support arms of the tray table in front of you. It's very sturdy, so I never worried about the amount of weight I was placing on it. I also liked the fact that it sort of works like a swing, so you can move your legs around a bit, or truly swing them and close your eyes and pretend you're sitting in a lovely white wood swing on the gracious front porch of one of those handsome historic homes in Savannah...sigh. Well, back to the horrid plane, with the now excellent place to rest your feet....you really don't have to disconnect your footrest for others to move through the aisle, it hangs quite close to the bottom of the seat, it just isn't in the way. I liked the fact that I could adjust the height of the footrest - on really long flights sometimes you just need a change of position, as well as a drink and a lovely happy place to go to in your mind while you rest your happy feet. Cheers and good travels!

Very happy with this product
It worked and worked well.Very happy with this product. I did have to work the straps out of the airplane mechanisms each time but the comfort was well worth it.

Happy legs
I bought this a while back and just had the opportunity to use it. I loved it. No more leg pain!!! It is a snap to use and fits easily in a carry-on. You can easily raise the tray with it in place and let someone in a window seat get out. I just ordered another one for my daughter and one for my daughter-in-law. I wish I had one when I was living in the north Pacific and spent nearly 18 hours on flights. When I fly from now on ...."I won't leave home without it!!" Simple idea - GREAT product. If you have trouble with leg circulation due to pressure on the back of your legs when flying, this is the perfect device for you.

Portable Airplane Travel Footrest
This footrest was much too short. I was unable to use it and i am under 5ft! So disappointed as I was traveling home on 2 long haul flights 10hrs and 12 hrs.. When in position the rest was level with my knees! Useless.

Not for me, but could work for others
Was difficult to use on plane. It is tricky to set up and actually wasn't very comfortable for me, so I stopped using it. It may work for others, though. It probably depends a lot on height, etc.

This is a very cool little product and does exactly what it says it ...
This is a very cool little product and does exactly what it says it does. I used it once - yes, once - and it was wonderfully fantastic and kept my legs from falling asleep on the plane. Unfortunately, when it was time to get off the plane, I couldn't get it off. The ropes that you use to put around the tray table had gotten stuck and I could not get them out. I ended up just leaving it on the plane. Disappointing.

Good product for short flyers
This was super easy to set up on the tray table and big enough for both feet. The only complaints I have are that it doesn't hang very low on the longest setting, and since it sits fairly high off the ground, it tips sideways a little bit with your feet on it. It's still the best thing I've found to alleviate back pressure for short people on long flights.
