Built well
I had to return this only because I couldn't make it work for my application, however, if it had worked it was build really well and was a good price for the product. The gate opened and closed easily as well unlike my old one.

Works as intended
Easier to operate than the twist handle ball valve that I’ve always used. The water that I am controlling is only gravity flow. Not sure how it would work if the water was under pressure.

Does the job
It shuts the water off. I only gave it a 4 star because you have to press hard to get it to close all the way then you have to pull hard to open it from fully closed
