Govee has a good app with a lot of options. I really like that they have relatively thick wiring. Much better than other products I have installed on other vehicles....which include the more expensive kits. I installed them in the wheel wells of my 2020 Sahara and I like how it looks. Plenty of wiring for a Jeep and nice setup. I'll update on longevity but they seem good.

These weren't to bad to install. Running the wires and making everything look clean was the biggest issue. Get creative with some quality 3m tape and self tapping screws. The provided zip ties are cheap and probably won't last long if you're using them to mount the lights instead of screws or bolts. I ran mine into a switch panel on my A pillar. Once I have the lights set to my liking, all I have to do is throw the switch and they come on.

I like these lights but I had to return them because the default color (if not directly connected to battery) is red, I wanted to use these as my running board lights that would come on when I opened my door no matter what I did the lights start off red although my truck is red and it would match I want/need white for my wife to see the black running boards. The app was easy to set up and worked flawlessly just wish the default settings where white the colors would have been a added benefit.

I have installed multiple sets of PODs on both our cars. One set is 3 years old. The newest ones have the timer feature. I never have to turn them on and off anymore. The only hitch I have found is time-of-day. Sometimes the brain loses it and there's no way on the app to sync the brain to your cellphone's day and time, which is weird because so many other apps can do it. It appears Govee has stopped selling PODs. I can't understand why they would do this and may have to start migrating to another brand. I hate to do it because we have Govee lights all over our house as well and like having one App control everything. Just wish they'd add time sync and a timer to all their products.

I used these lights inside my van. I mounted them high in the cabin to light the interior. I suggest the 6pk if you mean to do the same. 4 lights mounted to the B and C pillars, is cool, but an extra pair on the D pillar would be nice. I like the amount of light I get. It’s too bright at full blast to see at night if you are driving in poorly lit areas. I typically dim it to around 50%. The white is bright enough to be effective as dome lighting. These are super diverse. The Govee Home app has controls for color, brightness, animations, and other stuff. I’ve been messing with the DIY function, and I could spend an hour or two messing with creating presets. It’s worth it, these work great. I say put em up instead of led strips if you lust want floods for your floor or whatever. Good value, and they’re waterproof.
